Bioware has plans for Mass Effect 4

the combat in the 2nd made me cringe, 3 was enjoyable.

This game series is OK as a shooter but absolutely terrible as an RPG, I'll continue to treat it as such.

Dude this is EA we are talking about, the next ME game will be a full on FPS and they will proceed to milk it for all its worth until its dead.

I know, It's such a shame. ME1 showed such good promise for what the series could have been. I still loved ME2 and 3 but ME1 had something special to it that could have been improved upon rather than stripped down and streamlined.

It's hard to be enthused about an ME4 game to be honest. And I actually like the series

In my opinion it's the weakest. It's a stripped down game. The RPG elements were almost totally removed, the story is non existant and is just a segue from ME1 to ME3 and it is basically shepard gathering squad mates. Bits of the story show up but it's a by the numbers "go here, do this, get stronger" mission structure.

ME1 had the strongest narrative and ME3 had the strongest gameplay IMO.

Whatever, I am willing to accept the ending for what it is. I did care about the story and characters of Mass Effect. However, I don't need to have an MGS4 or Return of the King ending where everything needs to have closure.

At least mario games are always well made and pure quality ( mario galaxy is one of the highest rated games this gen), unfortunately given EA track record Fu#king sh*t up I doubt the milkage of mass effect will be good. It will be more along the lines of the milkage of Commander and Conquere games

Meh I only liked the first ME, i'm selling ME 2 this weekend, more cash for other games.

They could ofcourse redo a Mass Effect trilogy but with different characters perspective.
