Bioware vs Naughty Dog 56k.

I think it's time to put this nonsense to rest. Unbiased account of these two developers and their achievements.

Who is the more important/superior developer?

Bioware hands down.

They seem to fit into two entirely different niches to me.

Bioware made a 6.5 game so Naughty Dog wins obviously. They have no competition. Luxen90

They are both amazing developers on their own right.

But Naughty Dog takes the cake for me for creating one the highest critically acclaimed games of all time and setting a graphics benchmark on consoles. UC3 will exceed those boundaries and surpass them.

And because Naughty God has the extraordinary talent and ability to go that high with every new video game they craft, thats the reason why for me, it will always be Naughty God > Bioware.

Dragon Age Origins + Mass Effect 2 > Naughty Dog

You're missing some games for both companies, either way, their genres are too different to really compare them.tagyhag

Both are very good developers but since Bioware have put out more then I have to give them this one. Naughty Dog is still one of the best out there.

I noticed that some people have said that UC2 story was absolute crap and love ND this gen....so i guess these people pick ND because UC2 has teh grafix in da bag

Where's the option for equal?

Naughty Dog is great, but BioWare is better.

Of all time? Uncharted 2 is there highest rated game and there are games this gen that have outscored it. Crash and Jak can't even compete with the godly games of their generations.Blixxed

Bioware dissapointed with mass2 and DA2 so far so I'll give it to ND.

BioWare, by miles and miles. Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Mass Effect, Dragon Age... you can't beat that.

Not sure why people bash UC2 for the story. Yes it isn't innovative and a little cliche but what games aren't I mean even ME 1 and 2 just seemed like star trek games as far as the story goes. The thing I like about both is they are very well written without a lot of plot holes. The opposite might be a game like HR which is innovative but not very well written with major plot holes(still a good game but lacking a little bit for sure). I think they are both great developers but I have to give it to ND since Uncharted is my favorite series of all time. Though I willl say ME is right behind at number 2.

They are not even in the same league. Bioware wins hands down.

Definitely Bioware for me, I thought Crash was alright and I didn't like Jak & Daxter much.

This generation, I think Naughty Dog pwns them really hard. Overall Bioware is better though if you include the past.....Crash Bandicoot wasn't anything special and Jak and Daxter was pretty good. But not like....KoTOR or Baldurs good.Lethalhazard
