They aren't really comparable... But BioWare is the better/more important developer. However, I think Naughty Dog is just beginning to blossom so we have a lot more to come from them.
Little kids will vote ND because they simply weren't around when Bioware were producing their masterpieces. Their games still stand the test of time, that's how great they are. Also Uncharted is a new sony ip, and this place is running with cows, that's the only reason ND is winning the poll. Anyone with any gaming knowledge will agree, and it will hurt the cows. Sorry, but someone had to say it.

I think this post sums everything up pretty well.
The people who think ND are the better developers are the same type of people who said Halo invented the FPS genre.

BioWare has an extensive catalog of absolute classics - Naughty Dog isn't in the same ballpark.... they've even released 3 stellar AAA games (brand new franchises no less) this generation alone.

Ok, Imma be unbaised. I completely dispise KOTOR series, Star Wars, and Mass Effect with a passion. I think they are some of the most dreadfully boring games in existence, but I have to admit that Bioware has the better quality overall. This gen though, Im for Naughty Dog all the way. I

Well, can you deny that they dumbed down ME 2 so much it lost it's identity as an RPG? were you expecting turn based combat? or perhaps melee weapons? How about inventory, items, experience yield from monsters, more than two armors, more than four abilities, stats, different way to play the game (stealth/melee/talk your way outt).

I loved KOTOR, Neverwinter, and Baldur's Gate. I also liked Sonic Chronicles, so points to BioWare for all of those. But I am not a fan of Mass Effect or Dragon Age. On the other hand, I love the first three Crash games to this day and Uncharted 1 and 2 kick ass. I could live without Jak and Daxter, though. So I guess I like Naughty Dog more overall, just because the only current generation title from BioWare I liked was a Sonic spin-off.

as for your other claim, you are completely wrong.ND is as much of capable developers as Bioware this gen. Stop living in the past and stop putting your head in the sand, ND is one of the best developers this generation and is equally as good as Bioware whether you like it or not.

It's not questionable whether New Vegas is an RPG. It just is. ME2 is not. Since it doens't do anything like an RPG. Making decisions and dialogue options are not really an RPG trait.

Last I checked there were no stats for the use of guns in ME2. experience points, you level up, level up powers to use in battle.

I agree ME2 is a fantastic third person shooter with RPG elements, nothing wrong with that.
Bioware have been more consistent over the years. Plus, I was never really a fan of the Crash or the Jak and Daxter series'. Uncharted is awesome though.

Mass Effect = greatest game series of all time, although I can't say much for other Bioware franchises, other than KOTOR which I played ages ago with my friend on an Xbox, and Dragon Age, which I enjoyed, but overall never really got into. Only Naughty Dog games I've played are Uncharted 1 and 2, and I loved them both. I guess I have to give it to Bioware, but its close.
Naughty Dog wishes it could have the impact that BioWare has had on the industry. Also, I don't think Naughty Dog will ever make a game as good as KOTOR.
