Black Ops 2 to have free map day 1 for pre-orders

There were rumores about this before so thought i would make the confirmation thread that Activision confirms CoD: Black Ops 2 will have NukeTown 2 for black ops 2 available day 1 for those that pre-order BO2

NukeTown 2 or NukeTown 2025 will be available on release date if you prder and nuketown was one of the biggest and most played map in Black Ops, Activision notes that NukeTown was the most wanted map from the fans.

Activision also notes there will be many surprises in the coming months regarding the multiplayer in BO2

The biggest FPS of the year will be out November 11th on PS3,Xbox,PC, etc

Nuketown was a terrible map. Only reason it was popular was because it was small and children could clip down a narrow line of sight and get easy kills. Then they just just spam kill streaks the whole match. The only map in black ops that I thought was any good was SummitBPoole96

Thats why it was a fun map because it was small and you didnt need to run for long to get kills, but you can always not preorder if your afraid people ( or children as you mentioned ) will kill you too much in that map. cant handle it? skiping it is the solution!

but i agree Summit was the second best map in black ops after nuketown

It isn't free if you have to pay for the game before it is even out.

Also, this is just splitting the user base on launch day, which is the main problem with paid for maps to begin with.

How about we stop holding back multiplayer content for pre-orders and just give it everyone? There's no logical reason to split the playerbase.

Anyway isnt the reason obvious? It is to help prevent used games but unlike EA, not adopt a draconic measure to force players to buy new or suffer a 10 dollar penalty

Nuketown was a terrible Map which had terrible spawns. Just like Dome in MW3.

If they made Nuketown bigger I would probably change my opinion of it.

If you keep up with CoD you'd know MW3 been getting lots of free maps DLC for free ( so far 3 and the company promises more free DLC maps )

Never buy the paid map packs is what i would say, sooner or later they will go for $7. anyways MW3 been giving quite the number of free map packs and im sure BO2 will follow that

People love to hate CoD on these forums, but I'm honestly looking forward to this one. Give it a chance guys, Treyarch does a good job with the cod series. They're adding in some nice twists to the gameplay and changing it up enough that it warrants a purchase from me. The change in story telling, zombies playing a larger role, and who knows what else. They're giving it a lot more effort than Infinity Ward is, hating on cod might be the popular thing to do, but you at least have to keep an open mind here. Black Ops was actually well made, and Black Ops 2 seems to be a huge improvement.

It doesn't look similar to Black Ops at all, and trust me I'm no cod fan. Those who know me know that I never stay optimistic about a Call of Duty game before release, but I actually have a good feeling about this one.

Look at the gameplay, they're really doing cool stuff with the game! I especially like this new RTS spin they're putting on the campaign where you can pop between characters you controll, and command them to go to places real-time all over the game.

There's also guaranteed to be a lot of content in the game, more than enough to warrant a $60 purchase.

2 things,

1st They dont need cutbacks, thye games sell more then any other game.

2nd Black ops 2 is beating MW3 in Pre Orders

Trust me, they hate on it on the fourms but most of the people here going to go for the midnight launch.

i personally cannot wait for BO2 as it seem like their doing major changes to just everything heck even the class system sound to have been completly changed and now you have points and able to select any amount of perks or streaks till your limit is filled up, etc

i personally only play CoD for its online and i know this is going to be as addictive as the other CoD games and i know millions around the world are exactly the same.

I won't bow to false gods.

so if you didn't pre-order it, it would be 800 MS points no doubt. hardly anything free in this regard.

Close Quarters, obviously the weakest aspect of BF 3 so far, is leaps and bounds beyond anything that black ops 2 will be able to provide :lol:
