Black Ops 2 will be the best Call of Duty game ever. What do you believe in?

Now that half of IW's staff left it, I definitely think that Treyarch is the number one Call of Duty developer.

They released Black Ops, and made sure it was the most balanced Call of Duty game ever, nerfing weapons, perks, killstreaks ec. Fabolous! Not to mention the best killstreak in history (Blackbird) and some crazy-ass fun killstreaks (like the car). And the Theatre mode, and most of all, Combat Record! And the currency...

In my opinion, there are so many things Treyarch did right. And Black Ops beats the Modern Warfare series in every single aspect, except for the gameplay.

So now that Treyarch got all this money from Black Ops, taking into account their love for the fans, I expect Black Ops 2 to be the finest game in Call of Duty's existence!

I agree. I thought Black Ops was indeed the best CoD ever and I will definitly be getting Black Ops 2.

So I guess everyone's sick of MW3 already if we're talking about next year's version before E3 even hits.

When it comes to MP, BLOPS is certainly up there with CoD 1/UO and MW1. Hopefully BLOPS 2 will be just as good. MW2/MW3 while great games have been a bit disappointing.

I hated MW2 MP, but Black Ops was fun because it was actually playable. Also the campaign was a nice change of pace. BLOPs > MW.

Sorry, but COD 2 is still has the best COD title

Black Ops was my favorite CoD as well. It has it's issues with gun balance and motion sensors, but it was a blast. I legitimately got 15th prestige and didn'tget bored evenafter doing so. I think I just find the older guns more fun to use, also. I'm not a fanboy of either company but I've liked every Treyarch multiplayer in the series more than every IW iteration. CoD3>CoD2 -- CoD:WaW>CoD4 -- Blops>MW2 -- Blops2>MW3?

Black Ops was not a fun COD to play.

COD4>COD 2> COD > MW3 > BO>MW2

i thought BO was pretty good, definitely better than MW2. My final judgement is still out on MW3. i really enjoy Kill Confirmed, and the strike packages, but, some crap is still way too overpowered, and noob tube has come back in a big way and its kind of annoying. I enjoyed Black Ops maps a lot though. MW3 maps are kinda average for me at the moment.

I think black ops 2 will be better then MW3...I decided not to buy MW3 I just got all the trophies..to be honest I might not get another COD untill the new systems come out because im burnt out on them.

Well treyarch is awesome, so you can expect something good.

BO 1 was terrible. COD4 is, and will always be the best COD. :P

Treyarch has been on the up with their last few Call of Duty games, and they've been separating themselves from IW's games as well. Black Ops was their best and highest selling CoD game ever, and I personally enjoyed it more then any of their other efforts or MW3. IW also isn't the same, MW3 was good, but it was probably the worst IW made CoD yet, despite its sales, and if anyone can bring changes to the series now, its Treyarch, because at least they had the guts to move to a different setting with a lot of changes in narrative presentation and multiplayer balance and mechanics.

I wouldn't call it the best ever though, not by a long shot. Call of Duty 4 was a revolution, the game that made modern day shooters the new WWII shooters in its sheer popularity and critical acclaim. No matter what, I don't see another Call of Duty game eclipsing that until at least the next generation, if at all.

Yes, this is the point with the thread. Treyarch will bring the series to new heights.

It wasn't the in game things that made Black Ops great. It was Combat Training and splitscreen online mulitplayer. I've heard that MW3 doesn't have neither of those, which really makes me upset.bbkkristian

I enjoyed Black Ops. It was one of the more balanced CoD game out there. idk if I would buy a BO2 though.

Every COD ever released is always the best COD ever. And I don't even care for COD much anymore, and this makes me want to play BO, and get MW3. :/

It's because it's what defines Call of Duty. If they were to change it, it would not be CoD anymore.

But Black Ops introduced a lot of new things to the series.

That would reqiure the game to be better than COD 1, 2, and 4, which is something I highly doubt. Black Ops 1 was only slightly better than MW2, and that isn't saying much.

In my experience, the gameplay was much slower compared to COD4 and MW2.

Black Ops' gameplay was only slower than Modern Warfare's, which made it a big more boring to play. But still, the new features introduced to the series were very welcoming.

That's not crap. It's for more of a personal look/style of play. Certainly not unnecessary.

Combat record was still the best add to the series, imo.
