Having seen the multiplayer footage, I struggled to find anything that was totally different from MW2's formula. And aside from gimmicks such as the deployable knife and the RC car, there wasn't much anything different. If it was to get GOTY, this site's credibility would go down a lot in my eyes.
Is it just me or do the guns have no recoil? At least MW2 had some. And I will never understand kill streaks. Take the RC car for example. It's like you killed 3 people, so we'll give you the fourth one free. IMO kill streaks should not give the user kills, they should just help the player get more kills, like UAV, or EMP.
When you list every feature a game has and simply put the word 'great' or 'sick' before each one, you can make any game sound like the best game of all time. 50 cent bulletproof: 'Great soundtrack' 'Sick campaign.' 'Great graphics' 'Great effects' 'Great controls' See! It's great!
camping will be in every fps game, noob tubes will be more balanced than they were in mw2, full auto famas and m16... thats cool, replay theater is cool, ballistic knife? well i know commando is out so thats good, rc car looks stupid imo (just pick a diff killstreak), surveilance camera will be good, new dive technique looks awesome... your sarcasm fails, we all know 90% of people who own an xbox 360 or ps3 will buy this game.
Haha... I lol'd. Not only would it not be "confirmed" but the chances of a Call of Duty game winning GOTY are about as good as a black Jewish atheist being the president of Saudi Arabia.
No way this is going to be GOTY. It would have to beat Red Dead Redemption, Super Mario Galaxy 2, or Mass Effect 2 first, and it's not going to beat any of those games, so no game of the year.

Umm..................................how is a little RC car considered Reveloutionary?
Super Mario Galaxy 2? Mass Effect 2? Starcraft II? Red Dead Redemption? Halo Reach? Absolutely not. One of those 5 fine titles will most likely win it.

Black Ops is the first CoD game Im actually excited about. But I seriously doubt it will get GOTY here. Too many other games already ahead of it. RDR,GOW3,SMG2,etc...
if they didnt gyp everyone on the campaign in order to milk us with expansions... and maybe they added in a new race i think it would be the hands down winner. As it stands, i disagree.
SMG2 has between a 45% to 60% to win GOTY, ME2 has a 15% to 30% chance, RDR,and SC2 have about the same chance as ME2 and the rest of the games coming out this year will be fighting for the left overs and the attempt to take over these big games. This is just the current GOTY predicitions,but it may change. COD BO has no chance at all to take GOTY on this site in any category it's nominated in.

If it beats out SMG2, ME2, SC2, Halo Reach, GT5 and other better games, I might just stop gaming in general. That's how disappointed I would be if Black Ops gets a GOTY anywhere except VGA awards, because those go by fan votes.
