Black Ops Will Still Out Sell Reach, the Irony

Reach will get the best reveiw and probably be the best game. Black ops will get good reveiws because it has Call of Duty in its name but won't actually be a good game. Still it will outsell reach by a lot

According to my bud who played a lot of Halo 3, he says the Halo Reach Beta is pretty much, "more of the same."

I turned him off of Halo after introducing him to PC gaming, he hasn't touched his 360 in months except for trying the Reach beta. ;)

Black Ops is coming out on like 500 different platforms, Reach is releasing on 1, so obviously its going to outsell it.

If you're talking xbox-only sales, then Im not so sure. Its seems the Call of Duty fanbase is at least educated enough to know the difference between an Infinity Ward product and a Treyarch product. The Treyarch games without the "modern warfare" tag never sell as well, so its far from certain that Black Ops will outsell Reach on the 360.

well, COD WAW didn't sell as much as COD4.

I think the Modern Warfare, as it's own franchise naturally does better than these 'other' war settings. some might be educated on Treyarch/IW differences as well.

so it could be a different story.

MP is only half a game, I don't believe SP is going to turn out exactly like Halo 3's....but maybe that's just me.

yes, but COD is spread across multiple platforms- however on the Xbox360 it changes lead from time to time with Halo.

Halo Reach will trump Back OPS on the Xbox360.

Well If were only talking 360, then I think Reach will outsell COD. But when considering the other platforms, well it goes without sayingthat COD will outsell Reach.
