SONY literally killed 2D gaming as of giving devs a hard time if not won't let them at all make 2D games on the PSone.

One game =/= revival/sustainment of a genre.
This was before his time. He doesn't know.
Also what's beter Planescape: Torment or Final Fantasy VI?
Planescape: Torment. FFVI's greatness is in story, but Torment has story AND gameplay. FFVI is bigger and longer, though, and has better music, while Torment has better art.
Little big planet? 3D 2D is the new 3D.
Again, one game =/= revival/sustainment of a genre. Can you name more than two 2D games released each year since 1994? Or even since 2001?
That would make two games, actually. 1 + 1 = 2. I didn't realize there was a per year quota I had to meet to make your point that Sony has 2D games on their systems invalid.
First, I didn't make that point, someone else did. Second, yes, there is a per year quota. Releasing two 2D games over fifteen years doesn't exactly support YOUR argument that 2D gaming is alive and well on Sony platforms.
Any platforms, not just Sony's. Also, scroll up. I listed 4 more. 6 in fifteen years, at least. Like I said, there's probably more I'm not thinking of. Also, fifteen years is inaccurate. The PSOne was released in 1996 in Japan, which would be 11 years. Not fifteen. How many has Nintendo released? 2? Microsoft? None?
So, Sony killed the genre. Yup. After all, the company that saved gaming's ass is DEFINITELY supporting it. What with released 2 games in... how many years has it been for Nintendo? 10? I think Sony's winning this one out. If anything, Microsoft is the one killing it. So far, they're ahead in next-gen console sales and haven't released a single one ever. And no Xbox Live Arcade doesn't count, nor does VC. Those are old games run on new systems, unlike Sony actually having (at least) 6 new releases in the last 7 years.
