Also fromsoft new game the duskblood coming exclusively to Switch 2. Similar vibes to Bloodborne. Can Fromsoft wake up from the dream and finally top bloodborne? I am likely getting this game day one...

It's not a Bloodborne 2, It's more like Vampire-themed Dark Souls this time. Bloodborne was a werewolf-themed Dark Souls.

The thing that caught my attention the most, that it seem to be a difference in gameplay mechanics between the characters, it seems it won't be like the usual souls games.

@sakaixx: In a lot of ways, Duskblood is inspired by Bloodborne but let's FromSoftware get away from an IP owned by Sony, just like they created Dark Souls because they didn't own the rights to Demon's Souls. It's a pretty big deal for everyone who's been waiting for a Bloodborne remaster or Bloodborne 2 and I'm tired of waiting myself. I was going to get the Switch 2 anyway.

Keep in mind that Sony does own 15% FromSoftware. Most likely Sony might've made a deal with Nintendo and little of that money comes back towards Sony for every Duskblood being sold...I guess.

I wonder if it will stay exclusive.

@girlusocrazy: yeah the charm of bloodborne is just how deep the mystery goes. From warewolf and sick people to cults and cosmic beings. Seems they bringing elden ring mechanics like jumping and traversal options so I am assuming its open world or atleast wide linear.

Sony used to own part of SE but they were still very independent and publish lots of games on nintendo exclusively.

2 hours and i lost all my interest in a new ip from a beloved developer, must be a new record.

Smart move by Nintendo though if it's a temporary NS2 exclusive. Last time, it was basically Bloodborne that sold PS4 to the people, Demon Souls remake sold PS5. Nintendo decided to steal the idea from Sony's playbook. From Software exclusives are the best system sellers out there. I can already tell NS2 will be a huge success.

Honestly this is really funny coming off the disappointment of absolutely nothing happening on the anniversary of Bloodborne. Funny in the "the universe is laughing at me" way. You didn't think Bloodborne fans could feel any lower, well guess again! lol

PvPvE multiplayer focused title does not interest me at all I rather just enjoy something else than play MP with randos. Not to mention insane pricing for the console and game especially physical games.

Well, shit I'm out! I had no idea this was a PvP/PvE focus only. Looks like I'm going back to BB on PS4.

Its multiplayer focused but I hope there is offline mode and invaders could be AI so that the game works more like traditional soulsborne game. Online in soulsborne game is fun personally but that is once I get my build right. First playthrough is about the world building, the atmosphere, the great level layouts and boss fights.
