Bloodbowl digital download released a day early! (56k beware)

So downloaded last night and am absolutely loving it. I know GS probably won't review until its released on disk but this should be a solid AA IMO. (coming out on PC, 360, PSP and DS I think)

I was a huge fan of the original desktopgame and this release is like a dream come true! I was kinda worried about the AI being really horrible in the single player, but its actually held up pretty well vs a vet and people new to the game will find themselves in for a brutal and immensely fun lesson in what real AI is all about!

So if you enjoy a strategic game, sports or just some brutal mayhem I suggest checking this out ASAP.

This game ties Dragon Age Origins for my most (and only) anticipated title(s) of the year. It looks so great.

Yea its DD (in 4 parts) and while its not officially released they are sending out emails every hour to allow people to download early. Only took an hour and half to get mine last night.

Heh, bloodbowl. The tabletop game is amazing. Games Workshops re releasing it along with Space Hulk and GORKAMORKA I belive. Space Huk due out in the Autum. Please tell me the death Roller is a option? redstormrisen

i never played the tabletop bloodbowl, nor have i seen it played at the GW i hang out at...but i have had many conversations with people there about it. and it sounds like a blastshadow_hosi

EDIT so its really 2 very different games in 1 and should please most people

The classic game is a pure strategy turn based game. Passing, blocking, etc are based on dice rolls. Blitz mode (which I haven't played) is action orientated. I think its more like a classic sportgame but haven't gone anywhere near it yet. EDIT so its really 2 very different games in 1 and should please most people blue_hazy_basic

man this game looks sweet. gonna wait for the 360 version but im sorely tempted to get it for PC so i dont have to wait. too bad my rig sucks. was there a version of this game already out? i couldve sworn i played a PC demo about a year or 2 ago

why would the game be hard to play with a controller? isnt it turn based? might be a pain if youre playing in realtime unless it plays like a sports game.

real time is alot more fun lol just tried it outshadow_hosi
