It's not commonplace to see an Xbox game selling enough to become Platinum Hits in Japan, but look! Blue Dragon is now a Platinum Hits! Looks like the plan is moving fordward!
Here are the new Platinum Hits for Japan! Congratulate them! They did the impossible!
Lost Planet: Capcom, 3,800 yen
Project Silpheed: Square Enix, 2,800 yen
Chikyuu Boueigun 3: D3 Publisher, 2,800 ye
Oneechanbara Vortex: D3 Publisher, 2,800 yen
Dead or Alive 4: Tecmo, 2,800 yen
Dead or Alive Xtreme 2: Tecmo, 2,800 yen
Blue Dragon: Microsoft, 2,800 yen
Gears of War: Microsoft, 2,800 yen
In addition to these, Microsoft is bundling two of the 360's biggest hits in one package. Set for release on 11/1, the Dead Rising/Gears of War Platinum Double Pack will retail for 5,240 yen with tax. Dead Rising was previously re-released as part of the third set of budget titles this past June.
Looks like Microsoft is at least improving in Japan. It's not out of the battle yet.
