Borderlands Gamespot Review - PS3 - 8 360 - 8.5

sounds like Damage Control to me.

PSN will always be 2 steps behind xbox live.

and some of the best games this gen are multiplat so dont give me that "its a multiplat" excuse.

must be sad to have to wait for a patch to play online...

While PS3 online problems can be patched who knows later on, one thing I don't like about the PS3 version or just the PSN structure is that this game out of many can't support signing on with two different PSN IDs. So if you and your brother has accounts on your PS3, only one of you can get the Trophies and even the game data saves while playing on split screen.

This game gets more fun playing with other people, and it's just pretty weak all your grinding and getting unique guns and leveling up while playing split screen only gets saved on one PSN ID account. The XBL structure lets any one sign on and off and gain Achievements and statitics in every game with split screen and local play. PSN hasn't patched this yet and I don't think they will and will just leave it up to the devs.

Just admit it, 'teh cell / teh bluray' PS3 is not the best this generation. If you don't like that, you can sell it and get some credit towards a better system. You DO have that option. The problem was with the online, of which a patch is being worked on currently.

Undeniably, but there are other factors, such as direct download, meaning devs don't have to produce disks and ship to retailers. DD is becoming a huge market on PC.

I'm surprised by the lemming's reaction to the scores. Some problems with the network behavior with this game is now evidence for the PSN being inferior? So essentially this is now ownage material? News to me. :roll:
