MGS3. Too much dialogue. I just wanted to play but kept getting stopped every 5 minutes. Okami almost made me do that with their 15 minute opening cutscene, but as soons as I started playing things so far have been smooth.

SC DA as well. The worst SC game IMO. Got 5 levels into it and just sent it back to gamefly.

tegovoltio

okami same reason, but every time i turned off my ps2 i had to watch that whole thing again be4 i was able to load my game. so i put it in the mail and shipped it back to gamefly.zelda tp is pretty boring i cant seem to play it for more then 20 mins at a time be4 i start to feel sleepy lol

Mm every time? That intro is just once.

Also to the above poster yea, gotta admit MGS3 starts a tad slow but after the resque of Sokolov it picked up for me.

yes i had to watch that every time. not sure if it was my controller cause i have a hard time useing the start button.

I too found Mercenaries boring.

I've rented many games that I've found boring. I found Call of Duty 2 boring, PDZ boring (after the first ten minutes of checking out the weapons), Burnout 3 boring.

The big one, though, is Metroid Prime. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance, but it just did not grab me.

[QUOTE="Lazy_not_fat"][QUOTE="Hoobinator"]FF12, put 70 plus hours into that game and couldn't be bothered finishing it. It's just not Final Fantasy.Hoobinator

true that. The combat just gets sooo...well you know. Let's just say watching people fight for you stops being fun after the 12 billionth random battle. IMO, they lost the FF formula with this one

Funny how many of you are claiming it sucks yet expent 70+ hours on it, here's some news, you don't necessarily have to beat it.

But I paid my moneys damn it. And the name, oh the final fantasy name, I was waiting for a moment of grandiose beauty and was left clinging to shattered dreams.

Final Fantasy is dead, long live final fantasy.

Well all I know is that I had funny in those 70+ hours doing hunts, collecting the Spers, completing the License board etc... Even if one didn't finiish the game that was fun nevertheless.

lol, I didn't say PDZ and MP since it would get people attacking my choice rather than putting in their own.

I can't stand MP. I didn't mind the Multiplayer in the DS version but the GC versions were really dull for me. PDZ could have been so good but they didn't work off the original at all which was frustrating since it had such a great formula.

It's a monetary note used in the USA, but that's not important right now.

With PDZ, I got it with the 360, played it for about 15 minutes, had fun goofing in multiplayer.....then put it away, never touched it again, and played San Andreas on my 360 until Dead Rising.

I'm looking forward to MP3 though, as it looks much more exciting.

I would like to reconsider my statement due to my deleted post. The game that actually got boring for me is "The Matrix: Path of Neo" and "Area 51" for PS2.

waynehead895

I played 3 SC games and the first one was the only one I finished. Second and third i traded after getting bored.

But personally I think it is cause I'm personally starting to get bored of the 1 person sent it to save the world crap. MGS i can stand as well as Halo although there's a team so that doesn't count really, GOW is fine too but something about sending only one spy time and time again when you can send more and get the job done couldn't you? I don't know I get tired of fighting alone at times and that's why gamesl ike Gears where it's all played with a team or partner or Killzone with a team throughout the game and half-life2 as well where many times you cross paths with allies. I prefer that personally most of the time

I wanna try out Dead Rising but my friend still hasn't bought it yet so I probably won't get to play it until I get my own 360.

I agree, MP3 does look much better than MP/MP2 for GC. Something about it feels similar to the DS version which in my view was much better than the GC versions. I think it's because it focuses more on being an FPS rather than an FPA.

Mercs?

That game is so much fun if you have a young violent imagination like myself.

For instance, take a helicopter and pick up a car with the magnet, then swing it around and try to throw it at people or other helicopters.

Hours of fun...

:?

I'm easily amused.

:(

duncanvk

Well, my favourite series is GTA so it's not like I don't like violent games. It's just that Mercenaries and its gameplay felt so repetitive. It was kinda linear too which got on my nerves.

It wasn't a disastrous game. I can imagine why people would like it, just not my thing.

Grand Theft Auto and Mercs just cannot be compared. GTA wipes the floor with it. But for a rental Mercenaries is very good stuff.

Believe it or not though some people DON'T like GTA.

Disgusting I know, it will never make sense to me why a person couldn't enjoy a GTA game.

I enjoyed SA for about a week..... then I was bored to death because I had done everything there was to do. I didn't want to do the same mission with different clothes over and over

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (though it was more frustration at the Triforce gathering part than boredom)

Rainbow Six: Vegas

Kameo: Elements of Power

Prey

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (for the GBA)

Gran Turismo 4 (though this may be due to me playing hundreds upon hundreds of hours of Gran Turismo 3)

Halo 2 (beat it once in co-op; tried to beat it again single-player but found it incredibly boring)

Recently, Supreme Commander. It received praises from reviews but I thought it was boring. Build a huge army and right click on a map point, rinse and repeat.inerte

The game gets a lot better once you learn the strategies, and there are a ton of strategies. In fact, even though I've been playing since the beta I still constantly learn new things from other players during games and on the Gas Powered message boards.

Mercenaries was one of the best. Even better than GTA series combined. But that's just me.

Mercenaries had gorgeous graphics...... and gameplay. ;)

But to each his own.

I personally enjoyed  Mercs and Pikmin (whoever said that), among some others mentioned.

I know this may be wierd to alot of people, even if I enjoyed it some bit to a degree, I say God of War and DBZ Sagas.

I hated GOW the first time I played it. I played the first level and decided to stop (big mistake).

My friend forced me like a week later to keep on going and I ended up really enjoying the game. Weird.

Most boring games eh? Wow this will be tough...To be honest I found halo so unbelievably boring when I first played it with my friend. After I played it a little bit more I got really into it. I'm a big fan now.

Karnov for the NES....who wants to watch a fat guy jump around and shoot fire balls for two hours?

Hearts for Windows...I don't like hearts.

Ok some people aren't gonna like this, but I didn't like Metroid Prime a whole lot. Got boring. I love Super Metroid and believe me I'm amazed at how much they managed to keep from that gameplay in the transition to 3d, but...something was wrong with it. For me, it just didn't work in 3-d and the save system was horrible. It got me pretty bored. To this day I still have not completed it. Haven't touched it in about a year.
