The fighting never got exciting and the enemy design was.... ung..
Yandere
I told you so.
You did, really shouldve stopped playing at your first warning.
What games just bored the hell out of you?
Briad, OMG that game was so damn boring I went to sleep no lie. I know every game cant be EPIC but ppl compared it to Super Mario Bro. HELL NO, but how it got a 9.5 I ill never know

Braid? I loved Braid! :P If you gave up after 10 minutes then fine, but later on the puzzles get insanely awesome. Now how the hell did GTA 4 and MGS4 get a 10 out of 10 I'll never know. GTA4 was one of the most mundane games I've played this gen. MGS4 was awesome though, but 10/10? Not in my book.
White Knight Chronicles
Every time you initiate combat, the game forces you to wait before having the wonderful opportunity to attack. You press X, maybe a few times, and wait before time grants you the privelege to attack AGAIN! Mind you, you're still just staring at the screen waiting to be able to attack for most of combat. After a few [dozen] of these attack sequences the battle is over and you get to do it again, or watch some uneventful, awkwardly done cutscenes.
I agree to some extent in that I thought Braid was very overhyped for what it was. But the puzzles themselves were quite interesting, and definitely not that boring -- they were actually difficult. What games just bored the hell out of you?

This kind of threads usually quickly become "lets bash anything almost randomly". So before that happens I suggest you people to.......*reads previous posts*..........never mind.

I was replying to her original post. I loved Braid, yet she finds it hard to believe it got rated 9.5, yet I find it incredibly hard to believe GTA4 got rated 10/10 when I found it to be one of the most boring games I've ever played. How is this bashing anything randomy? :|

Dragon age origins the 1:30 hours which I spent playing it felt like eternity of boredom
The last rebellion (thanks god I tried this game at my friend house before trying to buy it I wanted to break the disk when I was trying it at his place xD)
GTA4 that game killed my love for the series
Dragon Age: Origins. I got to the refugee camp with the Templars after the huge battle where the Darkspawn won, and sence then I haven't touched the damn thing.
GTA III. Seriously, HOW can ANYONE find this game superior to GTA IV?
The Resident Evil games prior to RE4. No wonder Capcom rebooted the series.

lol ownedit does crap I always wanted to try it out Don't be persuaded to not try the game. :P "Crysis raises the expectations for every shooter to follow when it comes to graphics, interactivity, environments, immersiveness, AI, and gameplay. Quite simply, Crysis represents the first-person shooter at its finest, most evolved form."[QUOTE="Heirren"]
Once you get over how cool Crysis looks, the game sucks.

...that's exactly where I am on DA:O at the moment, and that's the exact feeling I'm scared I'm getting. I stupidly traded in ME2 for it (very stupid I know, I'll get it back when the big DLC comes out), and I just find it ....annoying. Not to mention I'll try and listen to all the dialogue, but it's awful - how Bioware could make a game with the production values of ME2 (voice acting) and then also have this. I dunno, i'm tempted to give it a go now tbh - I'm sure i'll get more into it. Prince of Persia was absolutely awful, I think I played it for an hour and wanted to get rid of it. As much as I love the games, Oblivion and Fallout 3 are going to be hard to restart (got far into it then stopped so don't know whether to restart), but Oblivion's opening is horrifically boring for the 3rd time.Dragon Age: Origins. i agree i bought it , played it , its clever but i would prefer mario to any side scroller , or donkey kong for that matterWhat games just bored the hell out of you?

Sorry for fans but here it comes....
Kotor was really boring for me, DA:O was pretty boring too.
Borderlands on single player sucks!
And I found ODST over the top boring.
CoD games are always really lame to me.
I like HL2 and Dead Space, but can't play either of them for much more than an hour or so.
ur just not a MGS fan thats all I've been a fan of the MGS series for a while and I didn't care to much for MGS4. As for me I have to go with Blue Dragon, Borderlands (both online and single player), Tekken 6, White Knight Chronicles, the Last Remnant[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"]
MGS4
Most boring game I've ever played.

Civ IV and KOTOR. Also, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, but I think that game was designed for co-op only.

You just proved my point. A right way to play a game? The biggest problem with most games of today are that they pull the player on-rails, or you must play the game a certain way to enjoy it. Crysis is a playable tech demo.
Ok....going on from my post earlier - I put the difficulty down on DA:O to casual (lol), and I'm enjoying it a lot more. I got fed up of supposedly being some sort of incredible warrior, yet getting killed by spiders.Ravensmash
the game is a lot easier as a mage, trust me
first time i played the game i played it on the 360 as a warrior on hard difficulty and that was HARD AS ****
especially the broodmother, which took like 30 tries to beat... same goes for the final boss, i basically had to run around making potions for 30 minutes prior to the whole end fight just to barely survive... in many ways that was a harder experience than Demon's Souls was (at least on the 360 because it's next to impossible to use strategy - just have to rely on the shotty AI and keep switching between characters to heal)
mage tho... easy as hell, even on normal difficulty, bow & arrow works too
i sold off my 360 copy and eventually bought the game on PC and it's a lot easier just because of the controls, although tbh after going through the game on the 360 i really didn't care about legit fighting my way through again so i just download god-armor mods and waltz through now lol
lolno, try playing the game right.[QUOTE="RichardStallman"][QUOTE="Heirren"]

Crysis follows none of that. I don't think a tech demo would have multiple varied levels or an actual story.
I just feel Crysis adds nothing new, other than technology. It isn't the perfect comparison, but the overall direction of Crysis reminds me of NOVA for the Iphone--take a bit from this game, a bit from that game, and call it our own. So perhaps I'm biased in that respect, or maybe with the engine under the hood, considering how powerful it is, I expect that the tiresome FPS genre would recieve a boost. The game doesn't do this.
