Boss Fights This Gen

They have not been very good, and incredibly easy. Except for dark/demon's souls which had some of the greatest boss fights of all time. Boss fights have been lacking the sense of satisfaction of last gen.

Depends on the game. I had fun with bosses in Batman games, God of War, Gears of War, Dante's Inferno, hell even Sonic Generations had some fun boss fights. It's not like the old days where bosses were such a huge part of the game, but some games like Batman AC do it so aweosme.

Batman arkham city Mr freeze boss fight is incredible it requires you experiment with gadgets and use alot of attacks its unque compared to the other boss fights in the game.If you loooked it up on youtube to complete it then shame on you.

Action sequences have ruined a lot of boss fights. I like Castlevania's though.. the werewolf and that dude that opens the gate... great fights.

Not exactly, Boss Battles varies and its not just about the difficulty.

What makes "Great" Boss Battles is the experience with them, what makes them different and so on.

Whether its the difficulty like Dark Souls, or always doing something new like Mario Galaxy 2, or just the overrall Experience like God Of War 3 and Asura's Wratch, its all in the moment and what exactly makes them bosses.

Yeah boss fights were lame this gen. But I quite enjoyed the stuff in Demon's Souls/Dark Souls. Plus Jeanne in Bayonetta kicked so much ass. jg4xchamp
