They are good games and sell well, however this isn't portable warsEl_FanboySystem Wars=All Systems. Portable and the like count.
They are good games and sell well, however this isn't portable warsEl_Fanboy
so would you bet your account that NIn dogs wii wont sell more than halo 2 or 3?
Good call. You forgot MySims. The Sims and Sims 2 sold millions, also.
Of course, any "hardcore" gamer will decry this and say, "sales don't matter!"
Oh really? If Halo 1 was a huge flop, there would never have been Halo 2, (and probably not even an XBOX360, since Halo sold the XBOX for the first year). Use logic.
They are good games and sell well, however this isn't portable warsEl_FanboyAye, but it is system wars, and portables are systems, as much as everyone hates it, because Nintendo kills everyone in portables, however, the portable isn't a huge factor in system wars, but since the name is not "Stationary+Computer wars" we are not restricted to just stationaries, and thus we can talk about portables too.
This is me not caring about those lame franchises.

What makes Halo a "Halo caliber" game? Is it because it's a sweet shooter? None of the above mentioned games are shooters, so what you're saying is, "My genre of games is the best!", which is an opinion.
Nintendogs and BB sold to lots of adults, actually. It shows how much you track the market...

Lets see here...I'm thin...I excercised and lost alot of weight before Nintendo Wii came along. I have a wife so I don't need them for that. Mario, Bowser and the Princess? Ummm..ok....complexity or needlessly difficult gameplay to receive the same results as before?
If you don't know what three dimensionality is then I won't confuse you anymore with those kinds of big scary ideas.

It's the voice recognition technology that kind of made that game really interesting....but it lacked replay value. Nintendogs actually has depth, complexity, intelligence, three dimensionality and it's a good game. But I guess you don't have to play a game to mindlessly bash it.
My wifes little sister had it. I've seen it and played it. I must have missed all of those aspects inbetween walking my dog and having to pick up its poop.
Yes I imagined people who never owned a dog but pet one once in a while will know all about rearing one. Yup. Come on, you know fully well that you can't guage a game just by playing 10 mins of it.
I played the game and didn't like it. What do you want from me?
Just to not bash it. It's cleary good at what it is... If it's not what you like that's cool... what kind of world would it be with out differing opinons and tastes... Just don't bash it because it's not your kind of game.
Thats what I was saying. But just because I don't lavish it with praise doesn't mean I'm bashing it. Theirs a difference. I have a right to say that the game bored me to tears. Thats MY opinion and no one in thsi thread had the right to tell me I'm wrong.
[QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"][QUOTE="Maelkav"]Bread_or_Decide, do you actually have a relevant point to post?
You bash Nintendogs because it is a dog sim?
I bash GTA because it is a crime sim.
I bash NFS or Grand Turismo for being a driving sim.
I bash Tekken, DOA, VF, etc for being a fighting sim.
Your logic is flawed to the core, and all your posts reek of fanboy-ism. Please be quiet. We all know that you hate the Wii. Good for you. Be quiet.

I never bashed Nintendogs. I don't hate the Wii. I'm just not a crazed fanboy.
You are. Don't worry, there are lots here.I'm sending a warning to the mods about you.

Fanboy.
Sigh.....goodbye plot, goodbye depth, goodbye characters, goodbye complexity, goodbye intelligence, goodbye three dimensionality, goodbye games for me.
Here comes Nintendo's revolution.

Your absolutely right. I've not read though this whole thread, so if that's what happened, you have my apologies.

OH jeez....Fanboy....... please. I own a Wii, DS, PSP, 360, PS3, Wii, etc. Just because I don't like a game on a system doesn't make some1 a fanboy........Sorry that the thought of picking up simulated dog crap and shampooing a dog doesn't excite me.
You know what are some great DS games? Sonic Rush, New Super Mario Bros, and Hotel Dusk. Love those games.
