[QUOTE="verbalfilth"]That's just horrible....and extremely sad. More power to them anyways if they think they'll make more cash by making it accessible to people who don't want to take the time to learn how to play the game. Cherokee_Jack
There is virtually no overlap between the people who are bad enough at games to need this mode, and the people who know what this game is and want to play it.
There's not really anything to be gained by putting it in the game.
I personally disagree. The practicality behind the feature may seem inane on the surface but the very theory behind its placement immediately affects its overall accessibility.
Imagine Ninja Gaiden, a game notorious for and somewhat crippled by its difficulty, having this very feature enabled. It would immediately become accessible to any and everyone who wanted to play it without posing much of a challenge. This very accessibility will increase an audience.
Oh, and by the by, I doubt devs waste the time, energy and resources to put something in a game if they believed there's nothing to be gained from it.
But of course…that's just one man's opinion. :P
