Also I think pixle junk eden is meant to be quite good. Pain is also meant to befun I want that.

-DrRobotnik-

Eden is great, but Pain is a waste of money. Its fun for 10 minutes, but gets old really fast. Probably the worst game ive downloaded so far.

Thats why I never got it, it did not look like it would last. I might get eden it does look fun. and i dont have any trophies yet I am waiting for the warhawk update :P

Good for you?

Both services are good. You would be suprised the number of titles on PSN has really grown.

What I really like about PSN though is that instead of having just smaller titles like XBL, they have proper big games like Warhwak, GT5p and soon they will have SOCOM and Ratchet and Clank. Its great that people can now get proper games in this way.

Also I think pixle junk eden is meant to be quite good. Pain is also meant to befun I want that.

It is a bit funny though MS is going on about Digital Distrubution and how games will all be downloadable, but its sony who is actually making this happen with all their proper games for download.

NinjaMunkey01

Maybe you have not noticed the Downloadable Xbox titles on Marketplace? PSN has pioneered nothing. As always, Sony build marginally on what came before it. 360 had DL titles on the old Xbox. How long ago was that? 4-5 Years? 360 hit the nail on the head with DL titles. From day one, XBL has been almost impeccable.

PSN has been flawed, disparse, un-unified, and messy. XBL is its polar opposite.

Microsoft is probably encouraging smaller games because not everyone has extra-high-speed internet links. Even for me with a good Cable link, downloading a full game on Steam takes several hours, and consolites may not have the patience for it. Not to mention the matter of hard drive space (this even applies to the PS3--start downloading lots of big games and you can kiss your vaunted hard drive space goodbye). Live communications only call for about 80kbit/sec each way. That's pretty small, and also what may be the only thing available to people in less rural areas (remember, Microsoft is an American company and can therefore look at broadband from the American perspective--difficult to deploy nationwide with all that rural area to cover).

Yes it has downloadable games. But none as big as games like Warhawk and GT5p.

I am talking about PROPER games, 4 gigs+

MS was always talking about how games were all going to be downloadable, but its sony who is doing it. XBL has more games, loads more, ut I think that some of the best ones, the ones that will last the longest are on the ps3. Overlall XBL is much better, its just that in this small area the ps3 does it a bit better.

I agree PSN has had problems, sony needs to fix that, but the PSN store is very good now, it has loads of things to get now and i am pleased with how its going.

Ya know what bothers me about downloading games from Xbox Live? Is the fact I am downloading them to a HDD that will only ever be useful for my 360... and the fact that if my 360 RROD's, and I get a refurb, I will have to be online to play my old downloaded games.

And I dont know how it happened, but I downloaded TMNT arcade the day it came out, and for some reason now I cant access it from my HDD even when I'm online. It acts like I dont have the game anymore, but I do. :( And go figure, it started happening after I got my refurb.

thats bad. Have you contacted MS or anything? You payed for the game and they messed it up. If that happened to me on any console I would not be happy. Its your money you have spent on their games. Ring up theyr helpline and see what they can do. It must be fixable all they have to do is pay for it again for you.

And I'm pointing out that perhaps the console world isn't yet ready for lots of games of this size downloaded. Think about it. 40GB PS3s would get filled up PDQ. Not to mention the download times, especially from locations where the broadband rates really aren't all that great (more noticable in the more rural areas of the country).

Well, the game was only 5 bucks (best deal on Xbox Live if you ask me) but I dont even feel like dealing with 'em. Yeah, I get the raw end of the deal but seriously I would rather just lose 5 bucks than call them up and go through the hassle. I just dont see how it happened... like I've gone back to redownload the game but it acts like I never even purchased it. Oh well. I just dont download XBL anymore. I still have more than 800 points on my account though, lol. Thinking about just downloading movies and getting rid of em.

have played Geometry of war and Stardust HD and by far a ilked more stardust, but that was comparing gemometry I not the 2. Both have a goog games PSN have a edge becassue he offers a lot of inovative games and few full games like Gran Turismo, Siren, Tekken. By the way they are others others than Braid, Geometry, Stardust HD and Pixel junks games, nobody have been playing Eveyday shooter thats a heck of a good game.

Actually Microsoft has fixed the 360 DRM with a licence tool which allows you move the XBL arcade licenses over to your new console.

Check the sig and you can see I have. Just need to Speed run the game. Also I'm hearing things about secret stars. But no idea what they do. How's Go Go Breaksteady? A friend of mines from high school worked on that game.

I got to mess around with Braid at a friend's house for a few minutes, and it's pretty amazing.

Though, PSN is no slouch. It has more than enough content to keep me satisfied. Heck, I'm still playing Everyday Shooter and I bought that 7 or 8 months ago.

It's okay. I just played it for a second with a friend. I do like rhythm/button pressing games.

I disagree. I actually think the PSN games are better than XBLA's, but i haven't played Braid yet, so that might change.

Both are really good.

Pfft Braid. Does anyone remember that awesome Net Yaroze PS1 game called Time Slip? That was a great platformer with time manipulation.
