3DS continues to be shit, more at 11.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
It seems they fixed the biggest issue the first game had atleast, and that Bravely Second's second half won't be absolute trash.
Lame how they force you to side with s*** characters for the sake of getting a new job though. (maybe you can get the job later in the game without having to deal with that nonsense?)
Looks good, ill have to try it out after i play Bravely Default. 3DS got too many good games, ill never catch up.
P.S. What was the hype score? Muahahahaha.
As long as more than half the game isn't repeating the same section several times over and gameplay and story and presentation are on par with the last then I"ll be happy.
Oh lord I remembered Ringabel was a character that actually existed in the first game.
Please tell me that he doesn't return in the second game, or if he does that he arleast gets brutally murdered at some point.
Poor Writimg and Dialogue...Guess we can expect every JRPG by this guy a 7 or even less.
And Forced Plot Points? What does that mean?
Means "dang brah, I want to get back to the DZ in The Division, but they got me playing this long-assed weaboo game".
Where was the hype thread? Can't flop without a hype thread. If not, thread fail.
If so, LOLOLOL FLOP!!1!1'

I dought it, but those points feel like he was expecting Witcher 3 writing.
Damn flops everywhere
True that, nintendo and xbox are being hammered by flops everywhere all year long
meanwhile on playstation its one quality product after the other
Blab is so salty how much the 3DS is better than the Vita, that he has to create a hype troll thread. Even though the game wasn't even hyped to begin with. The Vita is beyond dead bro. Deal.
It appears the one problem with the first game is corrected, so I'm happy, cause that a was drag.
It's so bizarre to me how someone can get enjoyment out of a game "flopping" and also creating a thread about it to bait people who might like it. Strange world... strange people.
Braverly Second: End Layer is the worst title for a game I've ever seen.
Um,
Lets just say Japan + RPGs = terrible naming conventions.
@Legend002:
It teaches Square-Enix the lesson that they actually have to put effort into their FF knock off products. Or that the first game's praise and "success" was pure luck (it was).
Regardless I'm content, as a poor outing will kill the series and force the company to put the money into something else. Preferably something that doesn't suck.
@Shinobishyguy: satiate a boner? Lolwut
Shinooby, captain of the sinking ship HMS mixed metaphor.
You're just mad that this series clowns your beloved, yet tired FF franchise.
..."beloved"?
Pro tip, friend: do your research before you make blatantly incorrect claims.
I'm relatively sure about 90% of your posts involve some discussion about FF. Out of what? 18 or so games in the franchise only a small number of them have been good games.

I'd say the number is closer to 40% of my posts since I returned a couple months ago. And that high percentage relates to the fact that FF15 is on the horizon and I'm discussing how bad it's likely to turn out on release.
Like I said, you want to make a claim, research that claim first. You're making a fool of yourself right now.

Uh no the first games praise wasn't pure luck, the characters were far more likeable than anything in recent FF games and the combat was actually fun.

And the second game has a metacritic score over 80. He should read the positive points from GS review as well for a much clearer picture than the false one in his head.

Yeah, the bland Tiz, cardboard cutout that was Agnes, painfully pointless Ringabel; Edea was the only character worth a darn, and that's only because she had history with the villains. She wasn't enough to save the story, though.
As for the combat, it wore thin when the second half of the game was nothing but the first half rehashed a few more times. Now if you found that enjoyable, more power to you.

If you thought Ringabel was pointless then oooooooooooooh boy.

On Metacritic, the second game only got 4 points lower (81) than the first game (85). That's not a "flop" at all.

Having a reason for existing at the end of the plot doesn't redeem an entire game's worth of terrible dialogue and character interaction.

What does the metacritic average has to do with anything? And for your information, I did read the review and all the positive points. Doesn't make the game any better for me and it certainly doesn't sway my stance on it.
But if you want to buy it, go ahead. I'm not stopping you. I'm just contributing to the discussion. ;)
