@mmmwksil: An 80+ % isn't going to teach anyone a lesson. lol

TC should go back to playing with tumbleweeds on his lolvita.
I have no interest game, but that's fine. There are a bunch of other games I need to get around to buying.
@Legend002:
No, it won't. Sales numbers do. And the game hasn't sold so hot in its home country. I doubt the West will bring in enough sales to offset this, but I suppose I can always be proven wrong. Time will tell.
Handheld titles aren't usually big budget hence the amount of niche titles on them. Chances are it already sold enough to justify a trilogy.

3DS continues to be shit, more at 11.

I was hyped, expected an 8 at least.
Ah well, got it 2 months back and I love it so I'm not too fussed.
Still a point higher than Quantum 6. Looks like everyone except for lems are getting good games right now.

Fair enough. Basically what I was saying with DS3 thread. I thought is was a sure 9/10. So 8/10 flopped to me.

Ah well, good thing scores don't influence our enjoyment of the games we're hyped for.
@naughtyottsel: No doubt. It's the footage that has me waiting on DS3 now. Its just more of the same. Great games of course, but I can wait.

I'm currently playing Project x Zone 2, I'm having an absolute blast yet the game got a 5 on GS.
Shallow as hell game but a damn entertaining one
@naughtyottsel: And that's all I ask. Games are entertainment.
Only hate one thing about it, now I wanna buy so many other games just to try their retrospective franchises.

That's what Gamefly and Redbox are for: try new stuff before wasting $60 on the unknown.
Had no idea they were still making games for the 3ds. Last time i've heard of that thing we were in 2012
Poor Writimg and Dialogue...Guess we can expect every JRPG by this guy a 7 or even less.
And Forced Plot Points? What does that mean?
The game has this odd tone to it, it feels like a theatrical parody. Not sure if it's intentional, but it's all over the place with its plotting. But I quite like the goofy tone that the game has.
It plays better than the first game and goes a step further in adding a few more QoL features to an already well designed and polished system. it has far less production values and is definitely not as memorable as the first game. I havent finished it and it hasnt tapered off into the stupidity of the first games' latter half, but 7/10 feels just about right. That's very good and well above average for a JRPG.

Sakura Wars is Japanese only so that option is out the window.

Not saying the score is bad, i'm just wondering why those are the only negatives to give a 7.
Look up the Disgaea 5 review, it's an 8 and it's negatives is "looks last gen" and "new features making old features null".
That makes sense then this review.
@Blabadon: You need to get over the fact, that the Vita is beyond dead garbage that even Sony disowned.

Playing it right now, the writing doesn't seem worse than the first one, but the tone of the story has changed, which maybe doesn't gel well with everyone.
BD had too much drama for how uninspired the story was, imo.
The sequel is much more self-aware and playful, but not to over-the-top Disgaea level.
Having some legit chuckles from the story bits.
If you liked the first one, this is definitely no worse.
No game that allows triple wielding can be a flop.
