Breaking: Fable Legends cancelled, Lionhead and Press Play studio closed

According to wikipedia Lionhead studios had ~100 employees and that's 100 poor souls who have to live on tuna cans in the foreseeable future. I hope any wealthy lemmings here would offer them some jobs.

What a joke. Microsoft kills another studio. Although let's not act like Lionhead was amazing or anything. Peter M was a farce who over promised and didn't deliver...every time.

The Movies was decent but everything else was garbage. Fable 2 was playable I suppose. Fisher Price RPGs for lemmings. I guess this game and the studio died because well, Xbox.

Wow. This is shitty. Hope those who lost their jobs find work, and fast.

I never bragged when SONY was closing down studios, it's always a tragedy when people lose there jobs.

Thats just the biggest load of BS, there are very few people who actually gloat in these kind of threads and apparently you seem to be one of those.

And quit with the 'whataboutery' as someone already pointed out , 2 wrongs don't make a right and pulling the 'but they did it first' routine is something iu would expect in the school playground.

Good for MS if you don't do your job you get the axe, that's the way it should be. I'm surprised they lasted this long, the game should have been finished a long time ago!

Pretty much. I only liked Fable 1, and Fable 2 was kind of crap. We won't even go into Fable 3 and beyond.

Weird, I'm still able to play Fable Legends right now. Just finished a few rounds. Guess they haven't closed the servers down just yet. Time to go and get my copy of The Division now.

My only response is: Thank god. I know Peter Molyneux left awhile ago, but I hate his ass so much, and Fable is a shit franchise. Goodbye Lionhead. No tears from me
