They don't rate game graphics on the Acrade to 360 games. That would be insane. A $5 -$15 game that was developed by a small studio on a shoe-string budget is now supposed to put Gears to shame? The PSN games, Xbox Arcade, and Wii VC games are not compared to the full retail games on those systems. That would be unfair to say the least. They are judged against other small games, such as other downloaded titles, flash PC games, etc.

And they bash VC games graphics and controls since they are straight emulations of games that were out years ago. They don't update them with anything new. Nintendo did this on purpose for the purists who would complain. Each gamer has his/her own preferances. I prefer updates to my games. Classic XBLA games are updated with new little features to make the games more modern feeling. Both are ok, but if given the choice, I prefer the newer feeling.
And before that is said again, VF5 is an arcade game, like from a real arcade with powerful machines devoted to playing only one game. Alien Hominid is an XBL Arcade game, meaning its downloaded over the internet and it is smaller than 50 Megs. These two arcades are not the same thing, so don't lash back with that weak point.
This game looks original. I would never rate the graphics a 9 though.... maybe an 8 tops considering the Gamecube version looks exactly the same...... Rrrrrriiiiggght....
