Yes, EA has just confirmed that Oct. 13th will be the official release date of Tim Schafer's next masterpiece.

So yes, my most anticipated game of the year is now confirmed to actually release this year. Yay! So yeah, Tim Schafer fans, fans of heavy metal, it's almost time to rock!

GDC'ers fell in love with the gameplay, so I don't think we have much to worry about. I'm glad the game isn't getting spoiled left and right like every other game before it releases.

I'm getting the 360 version, it'll look better than the PS3 version.:D

People arent hyping this because of Jack Black.They're hyping BL because of Tom Schafer,who is responsible for games like Psychonauts,Escape from Monkey island ,Day of the tentacle,Full throttle..all amazing games.Not to mention,it's an action adventure game centered around heavy metal.How many games can you say have done that?

and Jack Black,i'll agree he's done alot of crap in the past.but at the same time,he has also done some amazing work like Tenacious D,High Fidelity as well as being a huge music buff and overall, knows his' **** when it comes to Heavy Metal.Take this however you want though,and keep saying it will be trash.however you might be eating your words come october ;)
