Brutal Legend is looking pretty good

Tim Schafer doesn't disappoint. Brutal Legend will be my GOTY, no doubt.

I doubt it will be a GOTY , although I think its going to be a cool game to play through .... one of those games that are greater than the sums of its parts. The graphics and animations will get picked on and the combat doesn't look very stronglike other action adventure games , but the overall game should be a fun experience.

To me it doesnt even look like a this game.. Looks more like a last gen type of game..

I didn't think it looked all that good, but the more I see of it, the better it looks. I think the gameplay looks good (not great), but being a metal fan, I think hold much interest in that area. A good rental at least.

I wouldn't be surprised if it scores a 9

The game just oozes charm and creativity. The combat in Brutal Legend may end up being what platforming was to Psychonauts, but there were so many other things to take away from that experience I'm sure it'll be the same in this case at the very least.

As for GOTY? Let's just say Uncharted 2 is not the game I'm looking forward to the most on Oct 13th.

I had no hype at all, but the more i see the more i love. It looks like its going to be a blast to play, and it looks like its going to be funny as hell aswell.

The more I see about this game, the less I understand what all the hype is about :-/ It looks alright, but I just don't see what the big deal is.

Although in the last few years Slayer have been kind of a joke as well as a parody of themselves,their first couple albums like "Show no Mercy" and "Hell Awaits" are Classic.

Rob Halford makes this game automatic win.

Any game that has featured a guitar with superficial functionality has been ridiculously corny in the past. If Brutal Legend succeeds in this aspect...I will be amazed.
