Bulletstorm shows that reviewers are paid off.

Every single line of dialog in this game is forced and the Profanity is used in a way that makes every single character seem like a 5 year old foreign kid that barely knows what the words mean. Lines such as "Don't come any closer or I'll kill your dicks." only continue to prove my point.

While I think certain aspects of the gameplay may be fun but at many parts, the action feels like it doesn't go as far as it could have.

It also tries to weave some kind of story which isn't anywhere near interesting with an environment that Games like this should provide the player with diverse environments and crazy outlandish places.

It tries to be funny, it really does and all their attempts at joke remind me of Spider-Man without the intentional corniness

To sum it up, Bulletstorm is just "average" and it has maybe three or four hours worth of solid enjoyment then after that is nothing more than artificial game lengthening.

So, unless you're a 10 year old who laughs at curse words I'd avoid this game.

But the same thing is said about Gears of War and yet, it receives 9's across the board from all major reviewers. When in reality, both Gears and Bulletstorm are the same, souless and generic shooters to ever grace the video game market.

I don't like Game A and B therefor anyone that does is unreliable, paid off, fanboys.

Or it could prove that their idiots (although I haven't played the full version of this game) Did GamesRadar actually say this game was funny? Or was the humor a negative in their review. I didn't actually go through the Games Radar review yet.

Because Gears suffers from the same flaws, yet it gets a 9. Bulletstorm has the same exact flaws if not worse and it's getting "average" ratings.

i havent and dont plan to play bulletstorm anytime soon, but gears of war is actually a good game. loved the multiplayer

Bulletstorm wasnt even meant to be this big deep story. It was meant to be funny, stupid, and vulgar.

Well its not the first of its kind. Its one thing to aesthetically "not take itself seriously", its another to be completely irresponsible and have senseless lines in the excuse for that motive.

Games like this are usually nothing more than rentals for me.

I've always seen it as a game I'd be very embarassed to be caught playing, just personally. Mainly due to the dialogue you mention, and their 'humor' style._Cadbury_

I laughed at that in the game. Yeah maybe they over do it a bit, but i find it funny sometimes and the gameplay mechanics are really great. Instead of shooting at people I find myself scanning the environment for what i should impale them onto or kick at them. Its a good game, get over it.

I literally had to turn on the profanity filter in gears 2 cause I got tired of hearing the darn F & S word every 20 seconds.

Running out of ammo: "S***"

Perfect reload: "F*** YEAH!"

Get shot one: "F***"

Random dialog: "Instert various curse words here"

Far as the jokes, like I said, they're as bad as Spider-Man minus the intentional corniness and most of them TRY to be jokes an half of them end up being misfired as normal dialog.

They're both generic space men shoot big creatures screaming profanity; If I wanted to watch starship-troopers I'd do just that, at least the writing is better.
