I don't know why you all seem to think just because a company works against another, it means they won't buy or try any of their products at all, not to mention the fact that MS and Snoy work together on lots of things, like blu-ray enabled lap tops not to mention with the money a cmopany CEO makes (like Billy Gates, richest man in the world), you may as well own all the game systems, besides bungie isn't biased, they don't even work for Microsoft anymore (although Halo belongs to MS now).

Valve's Gabe Newell is pretty frickin biased though from what I've heard.

Besides, they aren't 12 year olds who go around saying Halo is the best game ever and calling non 360 games boring or glitchy (you know who I'm taling about), they are professionals who are mature enough to enjoy a good game when they see one.

So whats the big deal?

I don't get why people aren't more shocked at this. Developers never play games created by their competition, ever.

Naughty Dog, for instance, has a well-known policy of firing any employee who plays or has played a Halo game. They learned from the example of Shigeru Miyamoto, who brutally shot down sister studio Insomniac when they had the nerve to suggest he was influenced by their games.

Yet another example of unprofessionalism at Microsoft.

His job is to work for Bungie, to make games for Microsoft. They enjoy games out of work like everybody else.

And they loved it and asked themselves what a great franchisethat Naughty Dog didn't milk.

Why is this such a big deal? Game developers get into the game industry because they are gamers themselves. Gamers like playing good games. So the news is gamers caught playing a good game? Who woulda thunk it?

That must have been embarrassing....with all the money and support from one of the world's biggest coporations they still cant get their games to look this good. j/k honestly though its not shocking I mean come on the Bungie guys deserve a break from masterchief.

People can play whatever they want.

they're gamers. they play games. they don't hate the PS3. they just decide not to make games for it.

Sometimes devs play games too.

I fail to see how this affects things in any big way...
