Exactly, even more reason to thank Bungie and not XBL. I have gotten plenty of free stuff from PSN, I got the MGS4 database, GOW songs for GH3, Costumes for Genji (yea I liked it, so what), etc..

What you had was a great fanservice from Bungie, this can be done on any online system and honestly even easier on PSN since they give more freedom to the devs.

Awesome! The avant game union is having a halo summer tourny (go sign up!), so extra maps for free couldnt come at a better time.

It seems that bungie time this stuff perfectly for when you're just getting bored. I've been playing Halo 3 since launch, and whenever i go to move onto something else, something crops up to keep you playing.
