Bungie: Our new IP isn't tied to Microsoft

So they might make a halo game mutiplat. Im not expecting a sony exclusive from them.

Though I still think it has a good chance of being MS exclsuive, its like MGS, MS helped them loads.

Of course, they are independent, what do you expect? Though I won't doubt their games will be on 360 no matter how many platforms it's on.

Its a shame that they dont have the rights to the Myth serries, which is why Myth III Wolf Age was not developed by Bungie and is the reason why it sucked

Bungie are a great company, and its good that they're finally making new IP's. But there's no denying that the Xbox and 360 gamers made Bungie the success they are today, and i'm sure they wont forget that and MS wont let them forget that, lol

Microsoft own the rights to Halo so don't ever expect to see that happening.

I honestly don't think you can be jaded from concentrating on one IP for over a decade.

Moreso when you've split from your publisher for reasons one could only presume was to make different, non run-of-the-mill games.

i remember hearing something about a "right of first refusal" that microsoft has on future bungie products. thats besides the fact that they own halo.

i'd be genuinely surpised to see a bungie game on ps3. it'd be funny though, and great for SW.

Do NOT expect PS3 games, or even multiplay outside of PC/XBOX.

Bungie only split to have less creative restriction, as MS just seemed to want them making more Halo games. Now Bungie are independent, they can make what they like. If MS like what they're making, they get to publish it.
