Bungie Reportedly Close To Publishing Deal For New IP

I'm sure if Bungie could have made Halo work on the PS2 if they really wanted it to. No, it wouldn't have been as pretty, but it still would have worked.

Yes, it's one of the better decisions MS has made in their history. Bungie helped them make a console successful.

With that kind of a success story under the belt already, what kind of ridiculous person would say no to publishing a new Bungie IP? What will it be!!??

Bungie is a 2nd party developer

The chances of a Bungie game appearing on a non microsoft platform are slim to none

Do MS not get first refusal to publish Bungie products? if MS want it, they'll have it.-Snooze-

That's was the rumour, anyway (and MS still owns a minority stake in Bungie), but it's hard to say whether or not MS would want to take a chance on Bungie's new IP (after all, if MS allowed Bungie to go independent, it stands to reason that Bungie's future plans didn't exactly gel with MS's). That said I'm sure MS is the frontrunner, and Bungie is just exploring their options.

All I'm hoping for is NOT Activision.

It's amazing how influential they've been, and even more amazing how few people know it.

That list is way wrong, Halo: Combat Evloved was never on the Playstation 2, and Bungie didn't develope Halo Wars. :| But otherwise you are right, Bungie has made a lot of games before Halo and they will continue to make more games besides Halo.

Maybe something in the vein of Myth? Would be cool to see them making something close to their roots.

Its pretty safe to assume that whoever publishes the game it will still only be on the xbox 360.

They should just go with EA and release their game on 3 platforms day one to make more money.
