believe me if it's releasing late this year they should have pics of what the final product looks like.. you think all they've showed you so far is all they have at this point? HELL NO! they have lots of goodies I'm sure..so by your logic they should please the fans and show how the current stage in development looks like! They're feeding you crap news like rice krispys... I want visuals not news! They were good with giving us pics and vids with halo2...but man wtf not the same with halo 3...all we keep getting is info about how it looks so good... now think about that for a bit... they saying it looks very good... that means they have pics and footage of what those good pics look like... why not show a freakin example!?!?!

I would've been really interested in Phil's claims if it weren't for Sony's tarnished credibility.

I don't believe that. It's no more logical than believing Bungie when they say "d00d, Halo 3 looks teh bombz now!" without showing any screenshots. I'll believe these PR cronies when they can actually show us something.

Where are the screenshot?! Dude... saying it and showing it are two different things... You can't just go... omfg The halo graphix rocks!.... when they aren't... showing any... real screens... I sense Bungie BS... :-/ I was expecting some cool screens.

Hey, its not my fault bungie cant get there act together. I thikn people will see bungie isnt the godly dev they thikn they are. Epic will show them how a REAL game is supposed to look.

If Bungie just puts a big paint shine on it, without really upping the polygon count, I'll be disappointed. They need to reach that E3 trailer, they PROMISED. :-/ I'm expecting a lot of Candy Land.

When have you ever believed Phil Harrison? He believes Motorstorm looks better than the E3 trailer.

For once Keywii I have to agree with you. I'm not sure why Bungie released those awful early screenshots, that were so young they used Halo 2 textures! It's just.. ugh... they are creating bad publicity for themselves and if anything down playing the hype of Halo 3, which isn't a good thing. I'm not sure what Bungie are thinking, you're right though, they do deserve all the stick they get about the graphics. I mean, I agree with keeping the community informed and everything, but when this just causes mass flaming over the internets (which they are aware of) I just don't see it as a good thing.

Hey, it's still better than releasing a completely CGI'd trailer and claiming it's real isn't it?

Epic? Didn't they try to be as good as bungie with gears of war? Guess what? They failed. Sure it looks good, but the rest lacked. They also failed when they tried before with UT2004 when they missed out on MP GOTY against halo 2. As far as I've seen epic just doesn't live up to what bungie delivers, so sorry, you should've mentioned crytek instead.

im guessing that bungie are showing these so called "bad" screenshots which personally i still think showed quite good graphics, so that when you see the latest build you will be like "DAMN! i never thought they'd be that gd". if they keep showing us loads of pics of the latest build it wouldnt seem so amazing when the final build is released

that can be explained they are releasing old screens because they dont want to show off anything new that has things they dont want announced yet bungie said they are being more carefull about what they announce is in the game, because they dont want to dissapoint fans when they have to remove stuff like in halo 2 so everything in those old shots is pretty much concrete on being in the game
