Bungie's New Ip Set To Be Revealed This Week

Hopefully it's good. Still seems surreal they will never make another Halo game :(

Glad they are moving on from Halo. Reach was great. But they never kept me into the multiplayer like they did with Halo 2. Besides the glitches it was def the most competitive.. fast paced. Objective games (including big team battle) were absolutly awesome in that game.

I am glad they let go off Halo. :) Hope their new franchise will be as great.

Halo CE was more competitive and more fast paced with better maps. Halo 2 was great as well.

Then all of a sudden when this generation came around, developers got this idea that console games needs to be insanely slow. I don't expect them to play like Quake/UT because that's not possible on a controller, but that Halo CE/2 pace was perfect for a console shooter. Games now are just ridiculously boring.

I'm anxious to see what the game is, though I seriously hope it isn't an MMO as some rumors have indicated.

I think you've all read the line wrong. It said "a property from Bungie AND blah,blah,blah".

They're referring to another game entirely i.e. not Bungies. We probably would have heard word about a forthcoming announcement ages ago anyway.

So I doubt its Bungies unfortunately. Since they dropped a few franchises, I'm thinkin they're gonna genre-mash 'em together. Something like: "Tony Hawk's True Crime: Call of Guitar Hero".

Can't wait to hear about this, obviously its going to be a family game (I read that as like Nintendo and not casual) so Im hoping its some sort of adventure game.

Very intrigued, nothing I'd envisioned Bungie doing quite matches this statement. Last time I heard a statement like this Smith & Tinker was making an online Pokemon clone to complement a toy line that allowed you to train the monsters offline or something like that.
