I definately am a gamer dude...

Infact most gamers should be upset in general at the very idea of MMOs. Bungie making MMOs is like them trying to take a bath in cash imo.

they want to make a persistant world, maybe its a design decision rather than a business one?

You act like Halo is all Bungie has done. Bungie was a highly reputable dev long before Halo. I'm sure a lot of Bungie fans like myself are dying to see what they do next, now that they're aren't being locked down to a single IP.

Could be good. The problem is that it has so much competition from TOR, WOW, Guild Wars 2, and Tera.

No....no.no no no no. No more MMORPG's for me. I have been playing Maplestory for 3 years and in the end I got to lvl 120 and told myself...whats the point. Whats the point of lvling up. :P So I told myself that I just waisted 3 years of my life on a MMORPG and got nothing out of it.... Srry Bungie Im out on this one.

Well, I'm out. MMO have never been my cup of coffee, even if it is being developed by Bungie. No singleplayer = no sale.

And the fact that Activision is now publishing it means we'll see a slew of overpriced DLC, subscriptions and what not.

I can't see Titan being very good because Blizzard will probably make it similar to their current MMO model, the current WoW, instead of vanilla WoW which would almost be worth dropping out of Uni for. So I'm more interested (less uninterested is probably the better term) in Bungies attempt as it's a developers first attempt at an MMO so the chances of it having a spark of creativity & 'magic' like vanilla WoW are higher than Titan, which I expect will be a safe attempt at retaining the current WoW population with a new mind numbing, carrot on a stick, server-based-matchmaking-instead-of-persistent-world-community-based 'MMO'.

Yes, I'm bitter about WoWs direction/decline.
