Yeah BC was a good X-pac. I miss playing it. But on the upside, I've been beating all the games I missed like crazy since I quit. But no, SMG still deserves GotY.

I dont play any game for 12 hours a day for 3 years, even if i had WoW i wouldnt play it that much. Honestly, WoW isnt even that great, its just a casual fad. it copied everything from eq1 and slapped the blizzard name on it and voila best MMO even though MMOs are crap. WASTE OF TIME,

BC was really good though. Blizzard is famous for their expansion packs. Hell, they're famous for everything.

Woaa tell me the 12 hours a day for 3 years is a exaggeration, even 6 hours a day is too much. I admit theres days where I play some games for 4hours str8 but thats when I cnt go out or im bored as hell.
Normally i would agree with you but right now im so pissed of at Blizz. I made a SLABS instance group (took me about 1hr) and we finally go into SLABS. So now we are fighting the final boss (Murmur) who has the weapon i want (Sonic Spear) and he is down to 1% HP when BAM! i get disconnected. I log back on and what do i find? the server crashed and all the instances were reset :evil: WTF blizz...gimme back my 15 dollars

Back when I used to play a long time ago (I stopted just before the burning crusade). It was a resonnaly developed server I was on. We were fighting Ragnaros. No one else on the server had killed him yet on our serverand it was about our 9th attempt at him. We had him at 2% and almost everyone still up when he started to evade bug on us and about15 people just went offline at once. 25 minutes later when everyone was ready to start our next atept another guild took out first kill honours for the server.

Yeah, it has lasting power. But 3 years of play? Depending on what plan you're signed up for, that's $498 to $570 you're spending on just one game. Suddenly the value proposition seems a bit... hollow.

Well they are addicting for a reason. People dont get addicted to something that puts them to sleep due to boredom. TBC was a ton of fun but of course not GOTY.
