Uncharted is awesome. I loved the game. I think it is a better SP game than gears, because it has a good story with likable characters, I think gears has better looking graphics though.
U should tell the flaws of uncharted since any of the cows are honest to admit that the game has jaggies, mix of low and high resolution textures, low poly character models, no that much going on at once and small tiny enviroments.
If you want to be critical of those on Uncharted, I'll point out that Gears shares most of the same qualities.
It's more jagged than Uncharted, something the motion blur set out to remedy but if IIRC the game had no actual AA implemented, just measures to make the game look a lot less jagged. It ALSO has mixed textures, but like like Uncharted you're more than likely to come across the high than the low. in both you'll only really find low resolution texturing if you're trying to find it. Even so, the low resolution textures in both games are generally a higher quality than in most games so there's not much to ***** about.
About the low poly models. Urgh, hate to break it to you but they've probably got more polygons than the character models in Gears. Other than that, environments are much, MUCH larger in Uncharted next to Gears. Which is noticeable due to the exploration/platforming sections. But just in general really. About the same amount of action happens in both.
Since we're being negative, let's mention the texture pop-in I noticed in both games. Especially at the beginning of chapters.
Ahh, I just remembered. The train stage on Gears was gorgeous.
