[QUOTE="ganon546"]If your willing to spend a lot of money on a rig, then get the PC, but I personally bought the 360.Vandalvideo
You don't have to spend a great ammount of money on a rig to beat the 360.no, but it's a known fact that playing 360 games on PC at equivlant settings takes a pretty hefty rig.
Both hermits and lemmings need to get over themselves. Seriously... lemmings need to stop spouting over how a PC costs $2000 dollars, and hermits need to grow up and stop having an e-penis the size of new york. I personally think you feel threaten since both the ps3 and 360 are fastly becoming very much like PC's.
anyone worth calling themselves a real gamer would agree, despite tastes in genre.
For the lemmings:
For $580 or soI just built this rig...
Intel C2D E2160 and OCed 2.9Ghz
2GB Corsair XMS2 667mhz
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
MSI Geforce 8600GTS OC edition and Oced further to 730/1250
200GB WD Sata drive
anyone that knows PC's well enough, that is a gaming rig that pulls just under 13,000 marks in 05 and 6200 or so in 06...for under $600. Thats without any memory tweeking, etc....All from Newegg.com
For the hermits:
Drop the attitude, and stop calling every game medicore that isn't on the PC. I find it funny that hermits will laugh at how 360 owner will get PC leftovers(games that were very highly rated), and yet when 360 games come out sometime later on PC (reguardless if it was highly rated, or it just took forever to come out). Then its ok! (mass effect whenever if ever, it comes out). While we all enjoy the many customizations of PC's, you do put more money into one over a 5 year span vs a console....it simply value...and the more complicated the consoles get, the better value it becomes.
Fact is someone calling a lineup of Halo, PGR, and mass effect garbage is just as dumb as someone who calls Unreal, GTR2, etc the same.
