anyone that knows PC's well enough, that is a gaming rig that pulls just under 13,000 marks in 05 and 6200 or so in 06...for under $600. Thats without any memory tweeking, etc....All from Newegg.com

dude, how do you expect to play games without a case, an os, a mouse, a keyboard, speakers, microphone, monitor, and so on?

it costs at least 1300 to built a great QUALITY gaming pc in this day and age.

I already have a case, an os, a mouse, a keyboard, and head phones......why don't console fanboys include the price of an HDTV, all the accessories, more expensive games, XBL if you have a 360, and the 3 extra controllers you need if you want to play with frieds?

im going with 360 i think...

for 800 i can do a pc.... for only atm oblivion, spore, black and white 2, farcry2 and crysis, and internet(but i could use the one im on atm, if i got a 360)

for like 350 i ca do 360 with.....viva pinata,skate,tony hawk pg,halo 3,oblivion,madden games,gears of war...

that's not the point man. i'm just saying, it costs at least that much (1300) to make a good gaming pc from scratch.

you are absolutely right in your second point though.

Its gonna cost around $800 for a decent computer in canada at least. I don't update my monitor CRT's own :)

check out the other lists too from 2006 and older as well.

If your just getting into PC gaming you have alot of catching up to do because there are alot of games that have already come out that are really worth checking out. That XBOX exclusive list is pathetic compared to whats coming for the PC really. If you can afford it now is the time to get into PC gaming. System wars is really the fight for second place ;)
