splinter cell sucks, halo sucks, i wish i could play fable but thats no reason to buy an xbox 360, by 2008 i will still be playing my ps2 i wont even touch that crazy ps3
Considering with a gaming PC you dont need a 360 to enjoy most of the 360's worthwhile games, i really doubt that. A 360 is simply a poor choice alongside a PC.

hehehe i didnt buy a 360. i got the core for free! now if you're saying the core will break before then (which i agree cause i already get one solid light with to unsolid lights a lot when i try turning it on) then maybe i would have bought another one

gears wont come out on pc till gears 2 is about 2 months away...
and people would have to spend a lot (not saying A LOT cause im sure you can get a good comp without overpricing it) to change their comps cause some people already have a one to two year old comps that cant even play current PC games.

Microsoft did something *right* by giving all the launch-units an infinite warranty after the higher-than-expected rate of failures was reported.

The point might be to play PC games? I wasnt aware that playing PC games means having the ability to upgrade your video card. And i thought that playing PC games meant playing games on a PC. A laptop may not be very future proof but hardly incapable of playing games.

Yeah. If you were rich and could buy the top of the line PC rig every 6 months. every six months upgrades? that would leave consoles in the dust, every year is the most you have to upgrade and its only the gpu that will need replacing often the cpu can last many years and ram is dirt cheap
