C'mon, MS is begging you to buy some Xbones "New Discount"

MS has been on a discount wagon for months now, it's really embarrassing. That temporarily holiday success seems to fade away and they have been trying for 2 months now to keep the momentum without success, they say the temporary discount will last till they are out of stock, but I doubt they will ever run out .

On the other hand, Sony has been rolling many discount but mostly on software

They would include more games for the same price, rather than reducing the price with same number of games, personally I prefer Sony's approach. It also shows that MS is using the price to move consoles, while Sony wants games to drive sales.

There is something to be said that the only way Microsoft was able to "win" a month (or two) was to discount the X1.

If they had more exclusive software that caught my interest, then a $350 Xbone might catch my interest. As of now, MCC is still broken and everything else is on PC.

Xbox Won the most important months out of the year in crushing fashion. That says something. They had the price and the games to offer in an important time. Now they are spreading the love around more. If you see a bad thing in this, you have a problem.

I mean, to each their own. InFamous was a huge reason for me to buy the PS4, but I don't pretend that it's going to be for everybody.

Fact is SO was not at all "middlingly" reviewed and actually has a higher metacritic score than Infamous. And calling it an arena shooter shows you have no idea what you are talking about.

only embarrassing if even after the discount, they still lose sales wars. at this point sales arent even worth talking about... ms might end up winning sales, but are they ever going to be out of the black as a gaming division. Every chart from 7th gen ive seen is that they havent even offset their losses yet and this isnt helping. Sony may be winning and profiting from ps4 sales, but sony is nowhere near out the clear with their financial woes....

It's no more embarrassing than the PS4 lineup at this point. Both consoles are still leaving a lot to be desired at the moment.
