Call Me Crazy, I Traded My 360 Elite For the PSP 3000 Series

Yeah i know what you guy's are going to say, but i've owned and played all the best 360 titles since it's release as recent as Gears 2, Fable 2, CoD WaW, and the fact of the matter is, i would have loved to get a PS3 but i'm only interested in the 60gig models but i didn't want a refurb.

So i was basically out of luck, then i thought about going back to a PS2 since i love the library and certain exclusives so much, like God of War, Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank and Socom but i didn't feel like spending $50.00 for a new PS2 title on such an old system.

So i started researching the latest model of the PSP, the PSP 3000, it has hardware specs that exceed the PS2 and it has all the titles i love God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone, Socom, Metal Gear and it's even getting Resistance Retribution in march of 09, plus i found a few hack and slash RPG's and some decent sport titles as well, it even comes with a built in mic and a 1gb mem stick.

So i was able to get the PSP bundle with Ratchet and Clank:size matters, a 1gb mem stick, battery charger, UMD of National Treasure 2 movie and 10 top rated games with my 360 console and games trade credit, not a bad deal.

Good deal if you were bored with your 360 (which happens easily mwahhahahhahahhahah).

Now get a ps3 so you can remote play on your PSP when your away from your house!

TC is owned for impulse buying. I hope you're not as messy with your money when you get older cause thats like trading your car for an exercise bike.

Selling Systems is always a bad idea. The amount of money lost is ridiculous. Good things come to those who wait and save. efrucht

I bought a psp at lunch, a few accesories and a game (totaling $300), a year later I traded it in at ebgames and theygave me $90

Terrible trade if you ask me, especially if you did it at GameStop.

BTW IF you like "God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone, Socom, Metal Gear and Resistance" it makes sense to buy a PS3 as soon as you get the money, even if it is an 80GB one.

This was a good decision if you recently became a traveling vagabond and will only have access to electricity while sleeping on a bus station's bathroom floor.

(and I like my PSP as well)

Whats wrong with you people? How was it a Bad decision if thats what he wanted to do? If that makes him happy then it was a great decision. what he chose to do doesnt affect anyone in a bad way and thats what he wanted. Kinda how I would pay a whole lot for something I wanted instead of paying little for something I dont care for. Thank you for your kind words, i also left out the fact that my 7yr old son is getting a PSP for christmas and he really has no one his own age to play with in our neighborhood so him and i are going to play certain games together wirelessly, so that was the other deciding factor in the trade. We couldn't share my 360, some of the games were too violent and besides my wife would never get the TV back if we did. 

psp is a great handheld, i have a 2000 and its great

but 360 is a console, and trading a console for handheld = bad deal.

if you wanted to trade it you should have done it for a ps3, thats what i would have done. you sed you only want the 60gig? wel only reason why i would want it over the 80gig is for bc which isn't really that big of an issue. so getting the 80GB is really not a bad thing

anyways its your dessision and i hope ur happy(but now you really need to get a ps3 for that remote stuff lol)
