Call Me Crazy, I Traded My 360 Elite For the PSP 3000 Series

Whats wrong with you people? How was it a Bad decision if thats what he wanted to do? If that makes him happy then it was a great decision. what he chose to do doesnt affect anyone in a bad way and thats what he wanted. Kinda how I would pay a whole lot for something I wanted instead of paying little for something I dont care for. Well it is a Bad decision. it was a 360 Elite plus all his 360 games. It would be better to just buy the PSP 3000, he probably lost around $200 in the trade.

i'm not a crazy 360 supporter don't get me wrong.. i just don't know how you can keep up with the latest games so quickly

Yeah i know what you guy's are going to say, but i've owned and played all the best 360 titles since it's release as recent as Gears 2, Fable 2, CoD WaW, and the fact of the matter is, i would have loved to get a PS3 but i'm only interested in the 60gig models but i didn't want a refurb.

So i was basically out of luck, then i thought about going back to a PS2 since i love the library and certain exclusives so much, like God of War, Metal Gear, Ratchet and Clank and Socom but i didn't feel like spending $50.00 for a new PS2 title on such an old system.

So i started researching the latest model of the PSP, the PSP 3000, it has hardware specs that exceed the PS2 and it has all the titles i love God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Killzone, Socom, Metal Gear and it's even getting Resistance Retribution in march of 09, plus i found a few hack and slash RPG's and some decent sport titles as well, it even comes with a built in mic and a 1gb mem stick.

So i was able to get the PSP bundle with Ratchet and Clank:size matters, a 1gb mem stick, battery charger, UMD of National Treasure 2 movie and 10 top rated games with my 360 console and games trade credit, not a bad deal.

Now get a ps3 so you can remote play on your PSP when your away from your house!

Didn't want your old slim model. i got the new PSP 3000 model the hardware specs are better than yours and a PS2, so save yours for the obsolete PSP pile.

The 3000 model is really nice and i'm loving all my  PSP games so far.

How did i get hosed ? i got a brand new PSP 3000 model, which comes with Ratchet and Clank, National Treasure 2 UMD, a 1gb SD card, ac charge pack and i bought 10 very high rated titles, Madden, Tiger Woods, Metal Gear P.O., Syphon Filter L.S., God of War C.o.O, Sid Meirs Pirates, Untold Legends B.o.t.B, Killzone Liberation, Tekken D.R., GTA Liberty City Stories and everything looks and plays great.

I know it's no 360 but it still has a great library of games and very nice looking graphics, in fact some games even look better than certain Wii games...So i'm happy.

The only thing a lot of people are doing with their 360's is talking about what is coming out. 

Personally that a very terrible tradeoff, but its your decision.

that's how you got hosed, you actually PAID for psp games haha(1 gig card is really a waste, once you get a bigger one you'll never go back and use it).. i've played most of the exclusive psp games and they're really not worth it, if you beat all the latest 360 games already i don't know how you think the psp is going to last you.. at least the 360 is still coming out with good games.  good thing you didn't get FF7:cc, that 'game' blows

Thank you for your kind words, i also left out the fact that my 7yr old son is getting a PSP for christmas and he really has no one his own age to play with in our neighborhood so him and i are going to play certain games together wirelessly, so that was the other deciding factor in the trade. We couldn't share my 360, some of the games were too violent and besides my wife would never get the TV back if we did.

I used the word bought, for lack of a better word, but i used my trade in credit from the 360 stuff to get everything, the PSP system and the games, so, again how did i get hosed ?

how is the screen?

My screen is fine, looks great, not a flaw to be found anywhere, i did hear about the screen problem your talking about, but fortunately for me it's not happening to mine and i've already put 12 hours of gaming in on it.
