[QUOTE="xTHExJUICEx"]7+ Days played....I think its obvious I could careless about how good the physics are in COD4.fenwickhotmail

"couldn't care less"

Ah! You notice this too? I see a lot of people that are saying this and just confusing the hell out of me. They say the freaking opposite of what they mean.

the majority has spoken, and they dont want to pay to play the game on PC.

[QUOTE="Relys"]

It mixes ragdoll physics with predefined animations. Like in Halo 3.

But saying it doesn't have any physics is complete rubbish.

Most of the CPU usage is used up for the graphics, but it still manages to use a simple physics engine that simulates ragdolls, props, and the path of grenades.

Don't fail next time you create a topic, ok?

Wait, so PC Gamers, basically got a console port holding back our PC's

As far as physics go I will take no physics at all with a game like COD4 than a game with great physics and nothing else like GTA4.

Lol, COD 4 has no physics

Airstrike Bombs=no physics you just fall the same way you do when you got shot or naded.

Painballz

I shoot people and they die, I could care less if their corpse falls in a realistic manner.

Really think that's enough for a so-called "next gen" shooter?

Yes, it's true. As soon as you shoot somebody, they disappear automatically. Then the game explodes in your disc tray.

However Halo 3 sucks ass. Infact all Halo's suck ass. I wanna shoot humanoids not little round blobbly things. Goes to show that simple can be better.

Grenades bounce around the place, paint tins can be shot off tables, bodies collapse. That's physics. Not very much impact on the gameplay, but still you can't say it has none.

Its built on the Quake 3 engine, it uses a very simplistic (still!) physics engine of last-last-gen "detail".

this is true. there's no sense of mass as well. no inertia. you can spin 360 around you so fast, that when you actually think about it. its actually quite funny. but still a fun game tho.

Has anyone noticed that in all of the CoD games, you can croutch and get really close to an enemies head and it will be larger than your gun?

Yeah The physics in this game totally suck ass. I'd imagine it would be a lot better if it had them.

To be honest I actually miss pre-determined death animations. I'll take those over crap physics anyday, either use a proper physics engine that makes the deaths look more realistic rather than you shoot someone and as soon as they're determined by the engine as dead they turn into a big ragdoll body filled with potatoes and flop to the floor, or use pre determined death animations, just make it so there are a lot of them so it doesn't look dodgy how people keep dieing in the same ways.
