[QUOTE="ice144"][QUOTE="3picuri3"][QUOTE="leejohnson7"].... I never seen anything like that, but my friend on PSN hasn't told me about that happening to him (i'm on XBL when my 360 isnt ****ed, so suggesting this is Sonys fault is silly. IW are the ones who have to sort that out, as gamertags arent the centre piece of PSN from what I have heard.3picuri3
it's totally sony's fault - it's because they made an open system you can abuse, not a closed on like 360.
this is why i play multi mostly on the 360 - because you get next to zero cheaters. on my PC, and on my PS3 before I sold it, you get this crap all the time.
i know some people bash MS for not letting mods in and making the system closed, but imo its a great thing if you hate cheaters ;)
If you've ever played pc games, you'd know that cheaters is a 1/1000th thing that you can easily avoid just by leaving the server and joining another one.
And are you saying you'd rather have no cheaters instead of mods?
yeah basically. on consoles that is. PC is always going to be open so it doesn't matter, but on consoles it can be regulated and controlled a lot easier.
and omg. have you played COD4 recently on PC? Or hmmmm... crysis MP? nearly every game had a cheater on Crysis for the longest time and the patch took them a month! totally killed it for a while. it's nowhere near a 1/1000 thing... games like 2142 are permanently lopsided due to client side grenade arc cheats that can't be picked up on the server side... if you think it's that limited of an issue you're just not noticing the cheating happening, sometimes it's pretty subtle stuff.
I see your point, I could debate better if i had played any of those games on the pc (only played 2142 demo, found it boring, and have COD4 on 360).
And by cheating do you mean exploits? That's 2 different things imo.
