Has nothing to do with that, it's just that as soon as the franchise hit consoles it went down the drain. Obviously the original console version (I don't remember the title) was crap, but CoD2 and everything after that was dumbed down from the original once it hit consoles.

There still hasn't been a single well done Pacific WWII game, it's pretty much untouched.

In terms of carnage, the Pacific is where it was at. That was a pure bloodbath. Nobody surrendered, the battles went on untill every single person died clawing at their enemy.

Shoot, anyone ever hear of that New York Taxi driver that killed like 40+ Japanese single-handedly? It was a real freaking bloodbath.

Pretty much the same way. Even at that, unless they do something radically different, COD4 was a decent game, but certainly not 90+ worthy, it's call of duty with skins, a game released in 2003.

I'm being honest, I'm extremely pissed off that they're going back to WWII. COD4 took us in a fantastic new direction for the series and then Treyarch just had to bring us back to 2005... Screw COD5, I'm sticking to COD4 and waiting for the next Infinity Ward made COD. Treyarch pisses me off so much.

CoD3 was great for a console shooter, so i dont know what everyones complaining about.

Uhhh, no. Good art direction, and camera angles go a long way. MGS4 has amazing models, but that's abou it. Textures are terrible, in any pic. Hell if you look at KZ2 pics/vids, the textures and non-aa really show.

Read the review, he says the textures are amazing, he also says thgat the game is the most visually impressive on any console game to date.

That pic has been used loads but play the game before bashing its graphics.
