Looks sick, huh?

Actually, it looks pretty good. Hopefully treyarch deliver :)racing1750I know. When I saw it I was like "ZOMG this is how COD should have been."
Ugh! And here I say that I would never buy another Call of Duty game after MW2, I hate you Treyarch why are you doing this to me!?!
Also, crossbow looks awesome. :D

lol, i said the same, guess i'm going back on my word...AGAIN :PAs much of a Call of Duty fan I am, this game doesn't look like anythin g new to the series. The trailer showed dramatic set peices reminiscent of Modern Warfare 2 and while I'm sure Treyarch will deliver on the wake of Infinity Ward's success, it won't be anything special to the series.
At least they will fix their **** when they find a glitch or an OP weapon. As much of a Call of Duty fan I am, this game doesn't look like anythin g new to the series. I must be burnt out on cod because those to me are some fugly graphics. Hmm The only reason I might pick this up is to support treyarch, Acti and IW use to treat them like a red headed stepchild,
Same as MW2 when we first saw footage, i guess it does look cool but its still using the same old MW2 engine so dont expect anything too new. Ill give it a rent.
Lol,i love it when people try to boycott games/series. Too bad it never works out. Trailer looks sick. :DZippySlappylol I know. Activision finally has it figured out. "Make sick trailers for games, and people will forget allabout their boycott, woohoo! Now why the hell didn't we do this for Guitar Hero?"
Looks like another game with fancy set pieces and well directed scenarios. So I guess fans will be satisfied. I liked Call of Duty 4, but all the stuff surrounding the franchise these days leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And I'm not really craving another game like it that much. But the interest is not all gone, explosions are still fun after all, so I'm taking the wait and see approach. Tentatively I'm picking it up when an attractive enough deal pops up. So potentially never.
Please let this one have a kick ass single player like COD4. But longer. mrmusicman247Logic dictates that multiplayer and DLC ought to continue being the focus. Another reason why I'm apprehensive, as I'm not really into CoD style multiplayer.

Another reason why I'm apprehensive, as I'm not really into CoD style multiplayer. I got tired of the multiplayer and i know the main focus will most likely be multiplayer however i will have hope the the SP campaign will be good. Fingers crossed.
I think I am going to give this a serious miss, I mean sure it looks good and all that however after being disappointedwith MW2 I think the best idea would be to rent it and if it's good then buy it, if it isn't or a fun game to play then walk away and not look back.
Definately going to get this one. I always like COD's SP, very good cinemetic presentation. For MP, I hope Black Ops will be more balanced than MW2. I am tired of tuber and lightweight runner tho I use them a lot, but it's not fun when most players use same build.
Treyarch...listen to the community. Get rid of the excessive kill streak crap! Give us a solid SP (as this trailer depicts) and a more balanced MP and some of us will come back.
Curious about the SR71 scene....trailer was good.
They're borrowing heavily from bad company 2, noobified the dart tracer (now requiring no teamwork). Destructible enviroment did i see? I hope not. I also hope they don't have too many vehicle sequences, and expecially not in multiplayer.
As I've stated, the vast majority of the vocal 'Treyarch sucks!' crowd were bandwagon hoppers that probably had never even played more than one (if any) of their games or could tell what Grey matter studios was. When IW's MW2 tanked with the gaming community, they learned to shut up.Oh ..wait ...wait, so its cool to love Treyarch now? ...is that the new trend? ...I remember when people were constantly bashing Treyarch and WaW, which I never understood coz WaW was amazing!

When IW's MW2 tanked with the gaming community, they learned to shut up. Indeed. Well put.If they borrowed more from BFBC2 and less from MW2 it could be a great game! :)They're borrowing heavily from bad company 2, noobified the dart tracer (now requiring no teamwork). Its not a surprise that consumers are fickle, just amusing to see it happen so easily first hand. For now Treyarch is "cool" and in a few years IW will be "cool" as well. Life goes on, and people that make their claims about never buying another CoD or whatnot generally tend to forget, get excited and do it all over again. We are creatures of habit.Same here, I really liked Big Red One, CoD3 was enjoyable and World at War was great. This reminds me of CoD4, where it's over the top without being summer blockbuster over the top like MW2 was.I am actually kind of excited for this. I always liked Treyarch and I hope this is their best effort yet.

If anything, Treyarch's recent CoD entries have been more like the original than IW's.I am actually kind of excited for this. I always liked Treyarch and I hope this is their best effort yet.

I read about this taking place in Vietnam but the trailer showed modern day weapons aR4gn4r0kNot exactly. You have the AK-47 (which isn't new by any means) the Steyr AUG (made in the early 70's) and the XM177 (A late 60's forerunner of the modern M4). Those are the only real weapons I could discern from the trailers.
