Zorgax
Not really, but your post made me chuckle.
Does it just make for some fun trolling? Or you just do it to for the sake of hating? WE WANT TO KNOW!
[QUOTE="Wiimotefan"][QUOTE="Jebus213"]I mean like they all play the same...Jebus213
Yeah that's what I hear and that's what I say, but should I really being saying that when I havent played the last 4 games to come out?
One of the most annoying aspects of SW for me is debating against people who obviously have not played a game, but continually try to tell me its crap or rehashed. I've had people tell me that SMG2 is the same damn Mario I've been playing for 20 years.
I realized I'm kind of being one of those guys regarding CoD.
But I have played the last 4 games....Then your hate is justified good sir.
Bought MW3 for the campign (DS version) and my stars it was awful. The hit detection was real spotty (even in the bit of multiplayer you had to be 2 feet away before the hit(s) would register) and in the campign, EVERY time a door was kicked open, the game would go slow-motion which just made it an absolute pain in the rear. You get to drive a tank, and that is the MOST frustrating thing I've ever done in any game to date. Needless to say, it went to a game shop that gives cash for used games.
I'm not a CoD hater, unlike all these hipsters on system wars. But the last one I've played was MW2, which now that all the noobtubers, campers, little kids, etc, left MW2 is actually a ton of fun. I consider it to be the last great one.
Blops got rid of a lot of the challange since now you can just buy all your weapons and camos, and the challenge is what I think made MW2 so fun. Getting 300 headshots and fall camo for my m21 was pretty damn rewarding. And mw3 is just mw2 all over again, whereas mw2, I think did change a lot from cod4.
Black Ops was the last COD game I invested a good amount of time into. At first, I really liked it, but then started to notice it's glaring flaws in both SP and MP.
COD 4 was the last COD game I loved. Still do.
If you played one CoD, you played them all, seriously. But I did play WaW, MW2 and Black Ops. Thats enough. Im not letting them milk me any longer, especialy when they dont even bother to fix the issues the series has.Just wondering, when was the last time you actually played a CoD game? I mean the last one you really invested time in.
I noticed that everyone (myself included) rips on CoD constantly for being a noob fps, rehash, garbage, etc.
But to be honest I haven't seriously invested time in a CoD game since 4. I only tried MW2 and Blops for about a couple of hours each. In all honesty I have no basis for my CoD hate besides hear say.
So what is the last CoD you played and if you do bash the series do you feel you even have the right to at this point?

I like how makinga topic on "will you play the next MW game" immediately gets a flurry of noes from the haters, but then you call them out on their inability to rightfully insult a game without bias and they all jump and say "yeah we've... we've played the last one or two, so we're allowed to hate it".
Irony.
What do you expect? The game hasn't changed between the last 4 games, so why would it change for the next one?I like how makinga topic on "will you play the next MW game" immediately gets a flurry of noes from the haters, but then you call them out on their inability to rightfully insult a game without bias and they all jump and say "yeah we've... we've played the last one or two, so we're allowed to hate it".

Yeah, because all that time you spend in SW is so productive.[QUOTE="DragonfireXZ95"][QUOTE="OB-47"]
The fools who spend more energy hating on a video game then actually doing something productive say that stuff

Discussing games is quite productive. Some of us here actually have proper intellectual discussions here, and I learn quite a bit, as I'm a modder, and I aspire to be make games. Plus it doesn't get me all emotional about a game, unlike you, who constantly plagues these forums with your irrational hate for Call of Duty:http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic/28944482/call-of-duty-mw3-edition-jeep-commercial?page=0
Everyone dislikes something nothing wrong with discussing what ppl don't like about itLast one I bought was World at War. When MW2 came they started removing features that were essential and asked for more money, so I quit buying.
Last one I played however was Black Ops, at a friend's house.
I'm not bothered to play MW3 though, I mean 5 developers worked on that game and the only thing really new are the strike packages... talk about wasted potential.
I don't invest serious amounts of time in games that I don't like to play.
The last one I played extensively and that I thought did some things very well, was COD 4. I was also willing to forgive its flaws much like I do with other games I like, because it was still somewhat unique.
I bought WaW for the wii because of a reviewer whom I now ignore, and I played my dads version of COD8 on PC, and my brothers friend version of COD...7 on PS3 that he brought over a couple of times to play with my brother. I also tried the free COD7 weekend on Steam.
I regretted every penny that has gone from me or the people I care about to that company. I will never buy another COD. Their mappacks, cruel business practices, and the utter ruination of gaming journalism are not something that I ever want to support.

Yeah I forgot that Call of Duty 4 changed the setting to a modern day setting from WWII, or that World at War added blood and gore and co-op or that Black Ops took place in Vietnam and changed up the multiplayer earning system with bot training and wager matches.
But I guess you don
t actually have to know anything about a game to insult in SW nowadays, especially if other people might agree.
I bought MW3 and it was painfully bad. How come they can't fix the netcode for their P2P games? Lag in UC2/3 and the Halo games are virtually non existatnt, but ALL the CoD games are so damn laggy. Traded in MW3, will play Black Ops on PC whenever I get that CoD itch.
I'm not really a COd hater, though i used to be. The last COD that I put tons of time into was COD4, but I've played enough of the MW games since to have a good feel for them and how they play. Personally, the games are solid, if nothing else. For me the best is COD4. It had it's faults in multiplayer like allowing good players too much room to dominate by managing their kill streaks well. MW2's campaign seemed boring but the multiplayer was decent. MW3's campaign was really exciting, great fun, butmany of the multiplayer maps seem to lack the structure of previous MW games which was a big turnoff.
