games are like movies. Theres a blu-ray and then theres a dvd. Bluray is uncompressed because it has the space to be, dvd is compressed down so it will be. In terms of difference, well most likly the ps3 will have crisper sound and sharper images.

I've already said this before. Infinite Undiscovery and SO are being made by Tri-Ace, and they aren't exactly Humphrey Bogart. They don't have the resources to simultaneously release two high quality JRPGs on two platforms at once.Vandalvideo

I see more exclusive games on the PS3 that interest me, the rpgs are what have me for 360.

Saying 360 can run pretty much anything PS3 can, is just like saying PS3 can run just about everything 360 can. Because PS3 is not superior to 360. They are about equal. In some ways 360 is better, some ways ps3 is better. I would argue that texture wise the 360 usually has cleaner more crisp clearer textures. Ps3 may have some advantages with character models. But either way they are almost a wash in terms of graphics output.

PS3 defenitly doesnt have more crisp textures, that's microsofts advantage due to the better GPU and more memory it can use for graphics, where as the PS3 is limited to 256. Having blueray is a complete non issue for games, if it needs more space than a DVD they will span it on multiple DVD's so you can either use a different DVD every 30 hours of gameplay or install it on the hard drive.

Money talks, Square needs quite a bit of it due to financial issues. They are looking at the combined console sales with X360 and PS3. I wouldn't imagine a JRPG doing huge here considering North America is a shooter genre, but any extra sales from both will help. Now the question is will the X360 fans buy FF because Sony has investments in SE so they would make some money from the Xbox sales.
