Can Halo 3 match these graphics?? Honestly....

They are very different art styles. In fact, too different to even have a fair comparison -- Resistance aims for attention to detail and subtle realism, much like Half-Life 2. Halo 3 on the other hand aims to look clean, pin-sharp and easy on the eyes. Grittiness and cleanliness don't go hand in hand.

I've played it on an HDTV and.....They're not.

The textures are shinier and the physics have been beefed up, but aside from that there's almost no difference between it and Halo 2.

Trying to compare the Halo 3 beta to Resistance is laughable. 

yes Halo 3 will look better

yes Halo 3 will score better

yes Halo 3 will sell far more

yes Halo 3 will have better online and people will play it for years to come just like Halo 2

ive got resistance and i think it looks kinda crap tbh. its like only the same lvl of grfx as fear is on the 360. its ok but looks bland and you dnt really feel like ya firin a weapon which is prob due to the lack of rumble XD. its ok havnt tried it online yet only been on motorstorm becus just got my ps3 online today lol

"Buh.. buh.. Resistance was a launch game!"  Yeah, y'know what else was a launch game?  Perfect Dark Zero.  It looked and played leaps and bounds better than Resistance.  If you're going to hype the PS's, at least have sense enough to use Genji, VF5, or FNR3 as an example.  At least those games looked good.

Cows are self-owned, Flop of Man looks like crap...read the review.

What did you want them to do, totally make everything 100% realistic? Thats like saying Okami isnt good looking because you cant see the individual strands of fur on the models. Games have diffrent Artstyles and Halo's is far from realistic. Though if you truely compair the graphics to halo 2 there is a huge leap, a great example is the Banshee the lighting and texture's on it are amazing if you havnt flown it yet you should definatly try it out it actually looks like metal instead of plastic.

Look at this Banshee glitch in the beta, they even have things detailed that you dont even see like space.
