Can HotShot Golf kick ps3 sales in JA? (300k ore-orders)

Well i do not know the answer to that. but according to this site, 300k preorders of Hotshot Golf so far.

1.7million!! Wow I would have never thought this series is so popular in Japan. Expect a boost of PS3 sales around the time of its release.

its more they are keen on cutesy crap, some of it is good, dont get me wrong, loved katamari damacy to death, along with others, but seriously, hot shots golf is kinda lame.
