Can M$ price cut counter LBP......

I think Little Big Planet could be a "massive" system seller. It is something so different and fresh for the current consoles that these price cuts might not be able to counter the hype that will spread with this game.

Sony's line up combined with the fact that the 360 is loosing against PS3 outside of the US means it is destined to 3rd place. Look were it stands now with a year head start.

Lets not forget FF is PS3 exclusive in Japan.

360 is a great machine and in some ways I regret trading it in. If I did own both today It would be easier for me to give up my 360 over my PS3.

As for my Wii. It is becomming a HUGE dissapointment to me.

I don't think LBP is that casual friendly. But I'm probably wrong.

But anyway, I expect the actual games to counter LBP. Although i don't know why you're talking like LBP is already a "massive system seller" when the franchise has sold exactly 0 systems to date, whereas GeoW 2 and Fable 2 have put up huge numbers. Quality games + cheaper system = best combo to convince people to buy a gaming system.

LOL ok LBP is only for 2 type of gamers. the players who have awesome creative skills that they could make a stage/level that everyone loves and keeps it coming, and then theres the players who will struggle to make a single building and will just quit all together and downgrade the game value. ill give this game 1 month to the gamers who are not open mined with this game. If a PC version is really OTW ill wait for that version. PC mods will work on the PS3 i hope

as far as system sellers go Gears 2>>>>LBP

Banjo and Fable 2 will sell some systems too
