Can someone list the best Xbox One exclusives released in the past 12 months?

It screws them because they have put more effort into Windows than Xbox and you don't need an Xbox if you want to play the few game they do offer. If Nintendo or Sony put their games on PC, they would not be having the success that they are having, duh.

I don't have to buy an Xbox, Xbox fans don't have to buy a PC, the games can potentially get more sales, win win all around.

Would be amazing if it worked like this for all consoles. Games like Bloodborne and BotW, with all of the benefits that come with PC, no screwing about with emus? And other people can still be happy playing them on their consoles? Sign me up plz.

In the context of SW it is "pathetic", and would've been hilarious last gen when this place was active. But outside the meta game and SW jokes, I think it's only a good thing.

MS recognizes that it's two different markets that largely don't care for each others platforms anyways. They might lose a console sale here and there due to a lack of true exclusives, but they probably make up for it with software sales in the long run.

They should call it the Obsoletebox now.

Since moving to mid gen updates, streaming services going cross platform and in an effort to stop the drones of stupid threads like this. It was declared by mods games on 1 console would still be exclusive.

Why cant gamers just enjoy the fact Microsoft are trying to do more for the wider audience. It has minimal impact to Xbox owners/potential buyers and major impact to PC owners.

If Sony could do it an make money out of it you bet you bottom dollar they would.

Halo Wars 2, FM7 and this month, the Mighty Sea of Thieves. With all the games to play on X1X, I just can't keep up even if I played 24/7 for the next couple years.

I would hope so... The Xbox has been out for about 4 years while the Switch has only been out for a year.

The damage control is real. It's funny how people say Nintendo fans will buy anything from Nintendo, when we literally let the Wii U flop and opted for the 3DS. Nintendo got themselves together when they realized that the majority of fans wouldn't buy it. Though lemmings continued to take it up the ass from Microsoft, and now they got egg on their face. Word of Advice: hold their feet to fire and demand that they give them worthwhile exclusives not on any other platform (including PC).

Microsoft owns both Xbox and Windows, though. Therefore, they aren't technically loosing a sale either way. People either have to buy an Xbox (on which there is not that much profit) or a Windows key/product. Not to mention the game itself. And thanks to UWP (love it or hate it) and the fact Xbox One uses modified Windows 10, it makes porting games extremely easy.

As to why they still make consoles? Because people still buy them. And if they can just use cheap, off-the-shelf PC parts with an already developed and established architecture and OS, why not?
